We turned up after thinking that our hotel had made us a booking but the restaurant had no record of it. They were fully booked but the owner kindly made room for us at a table right next to the window into the kitchen which...made for interesting and entertaining views of the pizza making. We chose garlic prawns and bruschetta for starters and then shared a pizza and caprese salad for main. All was absolutely delicious and freshly made...as we could see through to the kitchen! There was a really great vibe in the restaurant and the owner is just such a natural and efficient host...he makes time for everyone and seemingly is able to switch between at least 4 languages effortlessly that we saw and was great with the little kids. Would throughly recommend this place.More
We were staying locally and so tried to go here one night but they were fully booked, on a Thursday. So figured it must be nice and booked for the Saturday. It's such an unsuspecting little place you may well just pass by but it...was amazing food! I had the amatriciana which was incredible and did not skimp on the bacon! Wine was nice and overall a very affordable meal and very friendly service. Would definitely go back! Oh just remember it's cash only!More
Uncomplicated and great food, amazing vibe. Great diversity of food, all tasting great. Definately worth a try. Don’t let the location fool you.
I can't recommend the pizzas enough, they are amazing. And 2 of us had pasta which were also delicious. We luckily got a table but if not we would have got a takeaway. You need to book in advance to guarantee a table. All the...food and house wine was lovely. Just a couple of things though, we were sat inside, at the back near the kitchen (as we hadn't booked) and it was seriously hot. And as they run a successful takeway business - that puts pressure on the staff so expect to be there a while. None of these are negatives but thought they were relevant. We could walk here from our villa, but if you're driving there's only a few spaces out front but there is parking in the roads opposite. Don't forget to take cash.More
First time visitors for take away pizza a week ago, it was delicious. Decided to come to sit in for a meal tonight. From start to finish the service was fantastic. The Manager and Owner Harry is the most attentive, friendly, full of fun and...mischievous Manager we’ve come across. Food was delicious. Overall service was brilliant. Highly recommend. Thanks Harry and DebsMore
We ate here a few days ago and were blown away by the quality of the food. The garlic prawn starter was delicious and the pizzas and pasta for mains were exceptional. The staff work really hard and it is a busy restaurant. Even still...the owner made us very welcome and we felt that we were very well taken care of If you like good Italian food then this is not one to be missedMore
Sitting at the top of the list on Tripadvisor for restaurants close to where we were staying, we were tired having just arrived so switched the search to takeway available. I felt a bit stupid having driven round there, it took longer to find the...place in the satnav than it did to drive there. A small place next door to the local supermercado, seemingly run by a tall bearded redheaded guy, who may or may not be Luisa. Somewhat frenetically greeting customers in multiple languages , chasing his kitchen staff round to produce a steady stream of takeaway orders while waiting on tables inside and outside the restaurant. We ordered garlic bread as a starter, pizza for our daughter, carbonara for my wife, while I had a smoked salmon salad. As they were out of tiramisu, deserts were chocolate mousse and banoffee pie. I didnt realise there were boiled eggs in the salad, but once they were removed, there was a ton of smoked salmon in the salad that made it delicious. Everything kept its heat well during the drive back and it was very tasty. In addition to that it was also inexpensive - not cheap, very good value and would definitely go there again.More
Luisa's is very well run, with good service and interesting alternatives to pizza. The salad pictured is as good to look at as to eat! The wines are very acceptable too. It is in the midfle of the main street of a tiny town called...Sesmarias. Well worth a visitMore
Charming Italian restaurant. We had beef carpaccio and an amazing mozzarella caprese salad to start followed by pizzas which were equally delicious. Those plus a bottle of red came to €57. Service was good despite them being a little busy, I would definitely recommend if...staying in sesmarias (& is parking if staying further away)More
Great food, good service Really lovely meal, will definitely return Food was really tasty and very reasonably priced
Outstanding food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Good range of starters and main courses. Would recommend salad starters and the pizzas and pasta were superb. Just brilliant and very reasonably priced for the quality. No card machine but and ATM right at the door.
Great pizza and buzzing atmosphere at this cosy restaurant. Usually busy but attentive service and good food with excellent house wine. Great value for money but you really need to book for this popular spot.
We visited this little gem a few times this autumn and tried a great variety of the items on the menu. This allows us to say from experience, that whatever you choose your food will be delicious! The fairly basic first impression of the building should...not be allowed to let you miss this most enjoyable eatery. If the food alone wasn’t enough, the terrific and relaxed atmosphere created by Harry and his superb team will complete the experience!More
Lovely atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Vegetable lasagna huge and delicious. House white wine also delicious and very reasonably priced.
