We visited Salsa Bistro whilst on holiday with our 2 children. Service was excellent and nothing too much trouble, front of house was attentive and observant throughout. Food was excellent, and more than enough for us all, the kids loved it and we loved it,...it felt like a real personal service done singlehanded by one member of staff out front. Fabulous meal at this small but perfectly formed restaurant, just off the main strip and harbour front. Our party was 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a 5 and 2 year old. We had been recommended to this place in June on a group Facebook page...for the town, but didn't get the opportunity to visit. My wife and I have been regular visitors to Alvor since 2001, our children and their families have been as well since we bought an apartment in 2007. Our ages range from 70 to 2 years old and I have to say this is probably the best restaurant to cater for that age range.More

We enjoyed sangria in Cafe Ancora sitting in the sun then moved into Salsa Bistro for wonderful dinner. The service was amazing. The special of sea bass with tomato sauce on the side was absolutely delicious. I can definitely recommend trying this friendly restaurant.

We visited Alvor for the first time today and found Salsa Bistro. Both the service and food were amazing, as was the wine. The Owners took plenty of time to speak to us, the steak and lamb chops were perfect. Thanks again for a fabulous...meal and evening!More

I can honestly say this was some of the worst food I have ever been served in a restaraunt. Lamb shank was basically a bone, chicken was dry as the Sahara, potato's cremated. Truly, truly awful.

From the moment you book, nothing is too much trouble for Vlodomyr and Vitali, everything is spotless, the service is attentive and the food is beautiful and always hot when it reaches you. The portions are more than adequate and, delightfully, they brought out cake...as it had been my birthday the day before which they had spotted on Facebook. Try it, you won’t regret it.More

We went back to Salsa Bistro on a return visit to Alvor. Have to recommend as the two dishes we chose were soooo delicious. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back and try my husbands dish next time. Complementary wine and after dinner wine...a lovely touch.More
