So rude and non cyclist friendly we didn't even stay to.eat. I will not be going back. Rare in portugal to see this. Poor..

We ate here twice during our stay , first night had the turbot for 2 which was tremendous, boned at your table , had sea bass the 2nd night which was also excellent, good selection of wines well priced , enjoyed both meals and would...recommendMore

Prebooked a table for dinner the day before which was a good move as the restaurant was busy from when it opened and this was a Tuesday! They bring a plate of fresh fish (for display only) to choose fish of the day. If you...want that option they come out with your fish and advise how much it will cost before they cook it. When we went they were looking to share one fish between two. We went for Red Snapper which came in at just under 40 Euros for the whole fish. It was superb! The waiter comes and removes the bone at the table and then serves. Comes with potatoes veg and salad all well cooked/presented. We had Champagne Sangria which was Ok (red berries made it look red and perhaps too sour?). We had Portuguese crème caramel and ice cream which were both good. Recommended if you like fresh fish superbly cooked and most of bones removed!More

On each trip to Alvor we make it our business to head to Sereia for dinner (often more than once). This is a busy restaurant too so booking is essential. The food is excellent with top not h service each time. For anyone on holiday...in the area, make it a point to book a tableMore

We went to Serena last night. It was a top class restaurant with delicious food and fantastic service. Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

I enjoyed this restaurant a lot! They were very clean, good service and most importantly great food! We were a little disappointed that some foods like sardine aren’t served at dinner times because they are ‘to cheap to serve’ but other than that it was...a great restaurant with great waiters! The family and staff that run this restaurant are amazing, they treat you as part of their family. You are immediately comfortable and welcome. The food is absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble if you require an alteration. I particularly enjoy the monk...fish and prawns in Pernod sauce….. yummy. Food here was excellent - we shared mussels to start which were lovely! Between us for main course we had monkfish (1 skewered 1 with prawns plated), prawn curry and grilled salt cod. All delicious. On ordering the salt cod I was asked if I...had eaten Portuguese cod before … as it is salted and not fresh … obviously experienced in this being a surprise to some people!! The curry was served with a lot of fruit which was a surprise to daughter. As was the bib … which made our evening!! Food was not as (temperature) hot as we would have expected … but still good! We hadn’t booked a table but had arrived early enough to be able to be seated before table required later.More
