We enjoyed an early afternoon dinner here after a day on the beach. The staff was super friendly. Very much a seafood based menu but out of the 8 people only 2 thought their meal was good. The steak is super tough and very thin...so do avoid. Setting is fine and as we were a group the atmosphere was nice.More
We visited this restaurant a few times as well as the one right across the boardwalk from it. Both were excellent. Our hotel unfortunately had horrendous food so we were out and about searching for other places to eat. We ate here several times for...lunch and had amazing food. They even offered to peel and de-head my shrimp which was a lovely thing to do. They were insanely good. The spaghetti bolognese was superb as well. As good as in Italy You may see I left similar reviews for this and the place across the walk, They were both as good as each other. Great service, great atmosphere being right on the beach and most importantly the food was amazing.More
Fresh seafood cooked simply and well. Priced at the higher end for the area but won't begrudge that in a world where Yeezy shoes exist. Found the service a little condescending but also friendly. Perhaps sarcasm is universal afterall and our group found the guys...fun rather than annoying so all good on that front. The squid was caught within the previous 24hrs that was clear. Prep and cooking was quite furious for the price but honestly just happy to have fresh, properly local seafood in a nice location and without pretence. Would go again.More
Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for 5 but I am so glad we did. Staff were just so lovely and friendly. And the food …. The most tastiest selection of dishes we have had in some time. We tried the monkfish...and rice, Catalana, steak and carbonara. All delicious. Sangria pretty good too ! The kids also loved the crepes and are still smiling!!! We stayed for hours enjoying the food and views. We will definitely be squeezing in another visit before we go home. It cost us the same price as what we had paid for an Italian in the centre of Alvor and there was absolutely no comparison to the quality and standard of food. Well done on providing such a fantastic experienceMore
The location is great, with a great view across the dunes with the sea beyond. The food is good, we had razor clams in garlic, the grilled golden bream, and grilled sole with a local wine. It was all very good, but the same meal...would cost about half of the price in the centre of Alvor which is only a few minutes walk away. Can't beat the view though!More
Excellent food, lovely sangria, lovely staff. The view of the sea and the beach makes it even more special. Could not fault the service.
Excellent service. Friendly and attentive staff. Foods was good. Especially the garlic bread lol. Lovely location over looking the sea.
Another good restaurant on the western end of the Alvor boardwalk. It is situated on the beach but set back a little meaning that whilst you can see the sand etc, can see down to sea. Specialised in seafood which was on display, but I...fancied a steak (sirloin with mushrooms) which was excellent. My wife had Monk Fish kebab which was huge. We also had starters and a suite (plus drinks and wine) for approx €80. Very good meal although perhaps service was a little slowMore
You need to be more organized in the kitchen. Service is slow and for a restaurant with only 50% of its total capacity being occupied, waiting almost 1 hour for a salad and an omelette is not acceptable.
