We visited this restaurant twice whilst we stayed in Alvor. We asked for dressed crab when we booked and were told they would do their best to get it for us. We were pleasantly surprised when the showed us to our table they were able...to get it. The service is excellent and everyone is made to feel special. You are not rushed to order and have time before each course. They all work extremely hard. The food is tasty and good quality. Nothing is to much trouble. We will always visit when going back to Alvor.More

We have visited Capacho many times and have never been disappointed with the food. Paulo had his dad Fernandinho, are so welcoming, making the dinning experience so pleasurable.

Family run with three generations of family looking after us. Great food, excellent with kids and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Ate here several times recently. Great, family run and full of locals. Excellent fish, John Dory and cataplana. My new favourite local! Great value.

Very busy and very lucky to get a table. You may need to book but actually that gets you the table but doesn’t mean you will be served any quicker the same as any where. A family meal at Capcho, we hadn't booked but were still met warmly and shown to a table through at the back of the restaurant. The hosts were friendly and chatted about the fresh fish options. I'd have to say they were also very good...with our 5 year old. I had the prawn cocktail to start, which may seem old fashioned but was very good. The three fish dishes our party ordered for mains were all excellent. I especially liked the Grouper. First time I've eaten here, although I've visited the area many times. I would happily go back, as the food and service was excellent. Although, I would say that its a little old fashioned (throw away plastic bibs are OK for eating messy ribs, but not for every diner) with a more formal air than some other restaurants. Visit here if you want a slightly more formal experience with excellent fresh fish.More

This is a must visit restaurant, Father and Son hospitality is first Class, family owned and the Food is excellent. The atmosphere is fabulous and the customer service first class. Went back three times in one week.
