My girlfriend and I had dinner at Atascado and we had a brilliant time. The food was delicious (the ribs were especially superb) and the ambience of the restaurant was great. Pedro looked after us so well and always made me sure we had everything...we needed. The food was thoughtfully made and presented and all the staff had a smile on their face. Visited Atascado for dinner with friends and had the best night. The food was great - I loved the sea bass with lime - the wine pairing suggestions were spot on, and the service was faultless. Can’t wait to go back when the fire is...on for a romantic dinner in winter.More

Love this restaurant, food is amazing. Had the goats cheese in pastry starter with honey twice and I'm not a fan of honey. Food is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back next year.

My wife and i visited Alvor in September and found this restaurant and what a wonderful experience it was. The owner was very attentive and informative. The food was outstanding, for starters we had chicken livers, for main we had lamb chops and for dessert...we had fig, almond and carob tart. The decor was also wonderful. I am coming to Alvor next week on a golf trip and will 100% be booking this restaurant. I highly recommend visiting here, and i will certainly be visiting every time i am in Alvor.More

Found this beautiful restaurant down a small cobbled street in alvor. From start to finish it was gorgeous and faultless. Lovely restaurant, great service, superb food and wine. For a break from the fish I had lamb chops, my wife had John Dory fillets. Both excellent. Great atmosphere and decor as well.

I had the lamb chops and my husband the fillet steak, which he requested to be butterflied, and he said was perfect. All served with lovely fresh home made chips. Sat upstairs which was our choice but it was a little nippy so perhaps would...prefer to sit downstairs at this time of year. My point deduction is due to the service, we arrived early before the restaurant become busy, and was ignored for some time, ordered our food, which was done on a tablet by the waiter, my husbands soup arrived and after a few moments we enquired as to where my prawns were, for the waiter to look at his 'tablet' and say it hadn't gone through to the kitchen. No real apology or remedy just a shrug! I don't like making a fuss so just accepted it, but next time I will definitely make sure the waiter repeats back what we have ordered.More

Food extremely good and tasty food. It is definite one to find when in Alvor and I recommend booking. Nearly walked past it as it is away from all the other bars and restaurants.
