We had an incredible tasting menu here which was based on local cuisine and paired with delicious wines. The service was spectacular with an explanation for the dishes and the finishing touches added by the chef at the table. Would recommend to anyone for a...special meal!More

We had high hopes from having read the reviews ... and even these were exceeded. We chose the 6 course tasting menu and it was wonderful - so many flavours and local ingredients. The service and wine was brilliant too.

We had a superb meal here last night. Slightly disappointed we didn’t get a table outside (space is limited) but the wonderful food, the excellent wine and the impeccable service more than made up for it. Lots of extras, a glass of Prosecco, little tasting...dishes and a local liqueur to finish off, made this a very special experience. Highly recommended.More

The fact that the place is not big offers different advantages. Quality of food is unique, you can really experience the quality of the italian km 0 pugliese food. Second the service keeps the high standard level. The Chef takes time to look after personally...to the clients. Book in advance.More

Excellent value for money, menu is exquisite, great variety of tastes, local food at its best, special mention for the acquasale salad revisited by the chef. Nice selection of local wines as well. Will be back.

Don't usually try tasting menus but the vegetarian at €35 a head was outstanding: the acquasala was particularly memorable; amuse bouche, four courses plus a pre-pudding and a pudding; followed by the chef's laurel degustif; all prepared with great care and pride by the chef;...intend to go back for the meat tasting menu next time. Enchanting dining room with limited covers, at least during Covid-19.More

This was our third visit to this true gem in Ostuni. And once again, it delivered in spades. Friendly and charming service and outstanding, captivating food. Chef Giovanni Zaccaria's fresh and creative aproach to apuglian cousine turns the Collimare into more than a tasting menu....It is an inventive culinary journey through Puglia. Everything is as fresh and local as it gets. The vegetables are plucked daily from the chef's personal garden just outside town. The fish? From the salty, flavorful waters of the Adriatic down the road. Meat and poultry? Sourced from a local Masseria. Cucina povera classics, like the acquasala salad, are refined and perfectly executed. Apuglian standards like Fave e cicoria are taken to a whole new level when perfectly paired with a beautifully crispy-fava seared piece of tuna. Some courses are just downright delicious, like the fettuccine al ragù biancho. Delightful fresh pasta and a ragù that highlights the flavors of local veal by slowly cooking it for 12 hours. So tasty yet so delicate. The Apugian Surf & Turf, mix local ingredients with a hint of brazilian inspiration, while others, like the surprising desert of Burrata Ice cream with caramelized Capocollo takes world famous local produce and recombines them in dazzling new way. Osteria Ricanatti is on it's way to wider recognition and accolades. Book and go, before getting a table here gets a lot harder.More

A wonderful experience just a few minutes away from the historical centre of Ostuni - definitely worth a visit! From the amuse-bouches to appetizers (fried burrata on creamed beans) to excellent gnocchi in pumpkin sauce as primo to a great dessert - everything was perfect:...top quality of ingredients, dishes well thought out, delicious and beautifully presented. Great welcome and attentive, helpful and friendly service. Don't miss it if you are in Ostuni! (A huge plus: the chef has kindly adapted two of the dishes from the menu for me as I am vegetarian.)More
