We were a group of six. It is essential to book in advance as this place is very popular. The staff were very friendly and the food good. A great atmosphere.

We had a wonderful evening of friendly Bavarian hospitality as we celebrated my friend's (who lives in Landsberg) birthday. We were a mixed group of six English and German-based friends and family so our menu choices were varied but we were all highly impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. We will be back!

Interesting place to stop during a bavarian tour. It`s usually crowded with locals and tourists alike. Very good quality bavarian food,

Its not easy to get a table, all have been booked tonight, but the service people made it possible to get seats for two! I was so happy and was not set back at all. The waiteess was wonderfully friendly and always thinking ahead, also had perfect recommendations which we did follow. If you like real local food and can... More

Stopped here during an April blizzard on our way down the romantic road. Great food (traditional German with spaetzle and pork and kraut fritters). The service was great and the atmosphere very tavern-y with a large traditional green porcelain stove in the middle.

We visited Landsberg am Lech on a day trip from Munich. It was a short, easy train ride and well worth the trip. While exploring the town we wandered down an alley and found the Fischerwirt. It is a very tiny, completely charming restaurant. We arrived a bit past the normal lunch hour and were able to find a seat.... More

Very friendly staff, excellent Bavarian food and the rest is also mostly above average, wouldn't recommend Salmon though, the one I got served was quit dry and not very tasty. It's quite difficult to get a free table at lunch and in the evening you probably won't get one without reservation.

Not too far from the city centre this restaurant offers great Bavarian food and fine local draught beers (not the regular Paulaner line-up). The service is swift and very nice. The roast pork was really good, crispy outside and tender inside.

I spend yearly vacations in Landsberg, and it's getting close to that time again. Fischerwirt is one of my favorite restaurants there. It's a family operated business in a six hundred year old building. It's built directly against the wall of the millstream that runs through the town, with some small dining balconies that extend out over the millstream. The... More

Came upon this by chance and sat under the umbrellas on a sunny day. Had a snack and a drink which were all okay and typical Bavarian fayre. The staff were friendly and there was an English menu if you (like us) struggled with some of the dishes.
