Big positive surprise from start to finish! Thoughtful, well cooked and presented food and staff which ensure your visit will leave lasting memories. It‘s a charming location too. The drinks push up the total price a bit but still well worth it.
We were looking for a restaurant where to have lunch and ended up in entering this restaurant without knowing what we would get to eat. From outside it does not look like a restaurant although it has a terrasse. It is more like a shop...which offers the possibly to sit and get something to eat. Very few tables inside but very friendly atmosphere and the waiters (many of them for such a small restaurant and shop) are very friendly. My wife and I ordered a risotto and a ragout that we shared. The ragout was excellent. As a dessert I strongly recommend to order the plum+nut pie... delicious !More
Went here for lunch with husband and son. It is seldom that we feel as pampered as we were here, they genuinly care for their customers. The seasoning of the food was somewhat different from what we are used to, but very interesting, a little...bit too odd for our son though. The red wine per glas which were recommended was very good. We would give the food a four, but the friendly care results in the highest rating.More
Rode out bikes to Hallein from Salzburg and found a nice place with outdoor seating for lunch. I had a vegetable au gratin with some bread and a nice salad. Wife had risotto with spinach, pine nuts and mushrooms, which was also good.
We stumbled across this place after a morning trip to the salt mine and summer sledging. I had the seafood risotto and my friend fancied a tuna salad but there weren't any salads on the menu. The waitress was lovely and was more than happy...to make something for my friend. The food when it arrives was fantastic. I'm wheat intolerant so often use risotto as a go to. By far the best risotto I've had in a restaurant for a while. Meal was accompanied by some lovely coolers and enjoyed in sunshine watching world go by. By far the best lunch on our 3 day trip to salzburgMore
