Following a recommendation from an Italian friend we went to Caldosa and what we experienced there was absolutely unique: excellent food paired with genuine hospitality Dont bother ordering anything, food and wine are coming by the chef's daily choice.

It's not an agroturismo at all. Dishes are full of dough and cheese. All products, i suppose, were bought in the supermarkets. Everything was too long, our kids were almost asleep. Finally we took our last dishes and went home. It is a greatest disappointment...while being on the island. Some kind of cheating for touristMore

We simply could not have had a better experience here. The hospitality exuded genuine warmth. We sat outside (our table for three) next to a party of 20 and a party of 10; all large Italian families with children playing and adults enjoying food and...conversation. We hadn't been in our seats for more than a minute when wine, water and the antipasti arrived. No ordering; no menus. Just copious amounts of amazingly prepared local Italian food. The two pasta dishes were extraordinary. The pork dish was unbelievably tender. The food kept coming and coming. I was embarrassed when the check arrived on how little it cost. After the meal Nonna came out to greet us. I cannot recommend this place enough. Simply amazing.More

Great place to try typical food from Sardinia, staff very gentile and hospitality and price acceptable. 3 type of antipasti, 3 of first plates, 3 of seconds and desert. I enjoy it a lot and surely go back.

A trip to Sardinia is not complete without visiting this special Agriturismo. On dining here many foods adopted an entirely new flavour; olives directly from the tree, tomatoes fresh from the vine, various pecorino cheeses and delicious wine. The five course meal, including three primi...piatti, stew, porceddu, apricot sorbet & three different types of desserts was a feast for €30 per person. After reading trip advisor reviews we were absolutely convinced that we have to try this place out. The first day we tryed to call for reservation, but phonenumber was not correct. After having some difficulties to locate this hidden agriturismo the first day we were...told there is no place for two so we had to return the next day. This time we were received cordially. As my wife is vegetarian and this place was described offering also vegetarian cuisine we were disapointed as there was no meatless main dish. Food in general was fine but not extraordinary, for our taste a bit fatty. Antipasti were very good, also the pasta dishes, but soup was forgotten to serve, meat came without vegetables and bread, the dessert was liquid cheese with honey - very fat and not our taste - including also a hair! Toilets cleanliness was not perfect. All in all our high expectations were not fullfilled although the waitress was very kind. I hope our expirience was an exception!More
