This was our breakfast spot to go during our two month stay at the Seaview Apt. in Calibishie. Good coffee and a relatively good breakfast (not always consistent) started those mornings when we didn't feel like cooking breakfast. However, we always had to followup for something that was missing... juice, jam, utensils, or coffee!, etc.. Not huge, but it takes... More

Had the prix fixe special. Not impressed you could do a lot better for less money in Calibishie.

The croque monsieur my husband ordered was truly awful, our rum punches were sticky sweet. My callaloo soup was not bad, however - so there may be a few other acceptable choices if you know what to order. Very friendly waitress.

The emphasis at Bamboo is on locally sourced Western style food - fish, chicken, ice cream - served in a @ 20-seat dining room with views over the coast road to the interior. The restaurant is affiliated with the Calibishie Lodges Hotel and serves lunch and dinner.

We dined at the Bamboo restaurant because of our American Eagle cancelled flight. They situated us at the hotel here, and we were blessed with a lovely meal with wonderful owners/servers. Peter and his wife will make sure you are well satisfied. They have an extensive menu and are quite helpful in making suggestions. I tried the callaloo soup and... More

We stopped here on our way from our lodge in Portsmouth to the Carib Territory. After being served some excellent juice and very good pumpkin soup, I was thoroughly disappointed when the croque monsieur sans ham I ordered turned out to be just a grilled cheese sandwich with globs of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on it. It had been advertised... More

We were at Bamboo Restaurant after a very long day out with our two small children and needed to eat. Thankfully we didn't settle for a roadside place and went up the stairs to Bamboo. We were greeted by the owners and they were wonderful with the children's activity level and made us feel comfortable with being the not-so-quiet table.... More
