On a cold December lunchtime there wasn't a lot of choice of restaurants open. The Fishmarket was but empty and lacking atmosphere as a result. The fish and chips were freshly cooked but nothing special and the price on the high side. Service was ok.

Not sure what you were expecting maybe we're supposed to sing and dance round the dinning room, as for the price, fish is expensive especially at this time of year, really your very lucky anywhere was open. most places are closed for winter.

We had a good fish chowder for lunch, and quick and kind service. Service was quite flexible. A bit busy - being close to the station.

The food was excellent; fresh, cooked well - sort of as you would expect in this sort of place. The thing that made this resteraunt stand out, however, was the service. The waiters were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and really stood out as head and...More
