An unremarkable place but where you eat very well. The beef is very tasty, well cooked and you have plenty of choices between sea food and meat. Service is pretty quick and it's a good value for money.

I had been to the Bistro previously but this time I was organising a group of TVR owners on the North Coast 500 and got in touch with the Bistro to see if he could accommodate 14 of us including 3 vegans for dinner. Stephen...More

Generous tasty meals. Relatively small menu which always bodes well as doing a few things well always good. Starters of seafood chowder and smoked salmon were great. Main courses of burger and venison went down a treat. Chips really chunky and crisp. Very friendly staff....More

A friendly welcome and great food to boot. Really enjoyed the smoked haddock and everyone in our group couldn’t have been happier with there options also.

Fab meal, couldn’t fault it. Good craic with the waiting staff, will def return. Seems to be a favourite with the villagers, so not over priced

A chef who knows his flavours...excellent menu choices served with good wines all in a warm friendly atmosphere. Suggest you make a reservation as this is a deservedly popular restaurant.

What a cosy, welcoming wee bistro this really is - a great evening spent with my partner and her family. The menu is expansive and varied considering the remote location and despite being a vegetarian the chef catered brilliantly for me. The food was fresh,...More

Glad we found this place on the second day of our holiday. Amazing seafood and meat dishes and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will be back later in the week. Had the haddock and chips. Fish was a whale and chips were the most delicious ever.

Since my last visit the food remains just as good and cooked to order virtually in your own sight. Seafood platter is a speciality. The restaurant now opens for much of the year. booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

the establishment with the black Labradors is Lochcarron Hotel which is lovely and also serves food. the Bistro is not an appropriate setting for a dog. We have one and he stopped in the car whilst we ate.
