We have just returned from having a delicious Sunday Lunch, beautifully prepared by Mary and served with a smile, nothing was too much for the hosts to ensure we had a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The food was absolutely superb and extremely good value for money. We are so glad we read other reviews claiming the Brig Inn sunday lunch... More

Booking recommended. Best Sunday Lunch in the area. We live locally and visit fairly regularly. Good choice of starters and desserts. Scrumptious roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. All home cooking. Mary is a treasure and makes the most delicious desserts. Anne & John are friendly hosts and ensure you are looked after throughout the meal. We have never... More

The most fantastic Sunday dinner at this restaurant. Very friendly service. The food is fresh and everything is homemade. Every week there are different starters and puddings to choose from and they are all beautiful.

I and my partner stopped overnight in Annan on our way to Mull. Looking for a place to eat we checked out Trip Advisor for a dog - friendly eatery. The Brig Inn came highly recommended. We agree. What a welcoming place. We (and the dog) ate in the tiny bar with a small group of locals. Dog-less customers get... More

Travelling up from England,i was looking for somewhere not too far from Gretna to stop for lunch. The Brig Inn came up as somewhere different so we booked for Saturday lunch. The landlady said we did not need to book but she would save us a table anyway. Apparently the restaurant can be busy evenings or Sunday lunch.Lunch menu is... More

On approaching the "Brig Inn " the paint looks tired but inside you will find a realy nice couple-- we have on our caravan holiday always booked in for a Sunday lunch. This we have done for quite a few years-- Mary ( the cook ) assisted by the landlords wife produced quite a meal-- the beef was piled up... More

Just over the railway from the town, this is a popular local, for the people of Lockerbie. Pool table, sky Tv all you would expect at a local

Sorry I think you have reviewed the wrong pub. This is intended for the lockerbie brig inn, not brydekirk. Thanks anyway but we don't have a pool table and are much smaller than the Brig at lockerbie. More

Small country pub. Fantastic hospitality from proprietors. Fresh home cooked Sunday roast followed by scrumptious puddings. Recommend booking in advance. We'll certainly be back.

I hovered over the poor/average option for a while before I plumbed for poor. We were visiting Annan on a weekend break and decided to cycle round to the Brig Inn for a pint and maybe a bite to eat as it was a couple of miles into the route. I chose the Brig Inn based on the other reviews... More
