I dined here with my family (table of 11) on the 29th July 2017. We all really enjoyed our meals which featured starters of Honeyed duck, Salmon and cold prawn soup, the mains featured beef, lamb, the desserts included cheesecake, blackberry and lime tart. I...More

We were met at the door of the castle by friendly waiting staff, promptly shown to our table. Water brought straight to the table without asking. You are required to bring your own drinks, but they offer a fridge for storing any wine etc. They...More

This is my second visit here and the food was excellent! I had the fillet of beef with pepper sauce; couldn't believe how tender it was, it simply melted in the mouth. All courses were delicious. My favourite place to eat out in the area.

Fantastic location for an evening meal, the food is absolutely excellent, as is the service. You take your own booze but that is not a problem in the slightest. Have been a few times now and will go back again.
