What a find, a jewel in the crown of Restaurants. Not your ordinary pub grub, The Queens Head is the next step up without paying through the nose for it. Attentive staff without going over the top, certainly well worth the visit.

Utterly fantastic!! After the first visit on a weeks holiday we went back for a second time before leaving for home. Fabulous food and definitely don't skimp on portion size and quality of food. Prompt service from very friendly staff who also gave us recommendations of where to visit in our weeks holiday. Well worth the visit!!

Recommended this pub by the owner of the Friar's Head in nearby Akebar which was under renovation at the time. That was my good fortune. We'll... More

Eat here twice while spending a week walking in the Dales. The food on both occasions was of a high standard. The specials, mainly fish, could not be faulted. The staff too were helpful, very pleasant and welcoming. With the second visit the pub was full and the staff were very good in keeping you informed as to the wait... More
