We live locally and had visiting family so went for a day out in teignmouth. We chose number 9 as it had a childrens menu outside. I really like to eat fresh fish and there was fish and chips on the menu so I asked the waiter if the fish was fresh. "yes, its all fresh fish" he said so... More

I have eaten here many times in the past and it used to serve Sunday carveries second to none with slow cooked meats that melted in your mouth and quality vegetables, unfortunately the place closed overnight without any notice and appears to have gone to oblivion.

The first thing a new diner experiences is the face that greets them. If it does not show interest then that is not a good start. Sunday lunch - 5 friends together, ages ranging from 50 to 80. Two of us order the roast pork and say "provided there is crackling"...no there is none. So we opt for beef instead.... More

My husband and I decided to pop in to the former "Talk of the town" - now it called N9 Bar & Bistro for the lunch to support the new owner. I'd wish we had a lunch somewhere else... The first impression - the staff ( waitress) didn't bother even to say hello to the new visitors and kept cleaning... More

We visited No9 Bar and Bistro in February, as there blackboard caught our eye... The Valentine's meal deal advertised was superb value. Starter of soup or prawn cocktail, Steak meal, gateau from cold cabinet and a bottle of wine to share, all for £23.95 for 2 people. Yes price was for couple! It was excellent value, very tasty, good service.... More

What a lovely welcoming place, Brought my family for lunch, enjoyed the food and the service was brilliant, fresh veg and locally sourced meat can't beat the value for money. Will definitely come back, obviously it's had a make over and name change but definitely for the best thanks

Was so sad that you can not take well behaved dogs outside area as all other places you can and there is such a lot of dog lovers here and would attract the early morning walkers. Nice place and very clean and good food. I would go in every day and eat if l could sit outside with my dog.... More
