The interior decor is quite something: it looks like they've been collecting stuff for the past one hundred years or so.. Seating is quite narrow, however it adds to the coziness feeling of the place. Honestly, food was great: had I known portions were that consistent, I would have only ordered one main. I had one antipasto, some pasta and... More

Very cosy place in the heart of the city. The food is typical from the region, different from a pasta & pizza place. The best of the place is the decoration of the restaurant and the elaborated dishes. The worst part of it is that the service is slow but still, worthy to visit!

We've been there in a heavy rainy day but the wonderful place, the kindness of the waitresses and the excellent food made us alive again! We appreciated particularly the typical dishes and dresses of the waitresses.

Best thing was the cooked ham. Long wait: an hour between course s.. They did not pay attention when they took the order that the extra side dish was extra potato dish

This hotel seems very popular both with tourists an locals, so it's better to book in advance. It features a pleasant atmosphere. However, the food itself lacks of diversity and overall, although savory, is rather heavy.

We visited alla Luna for lunch, during a one day trip to Gorizia. The place is decorated giving a rustic atmosphere, with walls covered with local artifacts and waitresses wearing the typical dress of the city - at the same time it never feels tacky. The restaurant, family run, showcases the cuisine from Gorizia and Slovenia. We shared cooked ham... More

The restaurant is not so big, that's the reason why is better to book. The atmosphere is very warmth and the owners (three sisters) are very friendly. The interior decoration is like an old house: a lot of funny stuff on the walls and on the ceiling. The meat, typical from the Friuli region, is very tasty: good quality and... More

I've been there many times and never been disappointed. They always have something seasonal, typical, local. They have a wide selection of wines, and Elena, the owner suggests always something good. The atmosphere is so genuine and the food is just amazing.

I knew it is tripadvisor's number 1 in Gorizia but when we decided to dine there it was because we were attracted by the menu listed outside the restaurant. Indeed we shared two starters and three "primi", all local specialities presented in a very nice way and definitely of high quality. We were well advised for the wine even though... More
