The Bridge Bar at The Moorings, Portmagee is open all year round. Great food served all day with traditional music at weekends. Trips to Skellig Michael can be arranged and packages are available from April to September. Cois Cuain gift shop is open from March to January. The Moorings is located in a fishing village with a working harbour, post office, general store, coffee shop, bar, restaurant overlooking Valentia Island. There's nothing more endearing than knowing that some of the Hollywood's biggest movie stars like Mark Hamill and Director J.J Abrams have visited the sleepy village of Portmagee, and even sat in the Bridge Bar local pub where Mark Hamill poured a pint of Guinness behind

Visited again with friends - actually introduced them to this cosy place & they fell in love with it as I did! Amazing food, friendly service - nothing was too much trouble! We actually stayed on for a third night & were accommodated without any...fuss or hassle. Great place to visit!More

We had dinner at the Moorings Restaurant and stopped in Bridge Bar next door for a nightcap. Super friendly and a great hangout. Especially enjoyed talking with Connor behind the bar, who shared fun and interesting conversation even while managing lots of drink requests. Really...enjoyed the new Portmagee whiskey lineup. Can't wait to come back here!More

The pan-fried salmon. The staff. The atmosphere. Pub food at its very best. The Bridge Bar is all set for summer 2022. If you’re in South Kerry, don’t miss out on this one.

Called in today whilst passing through on a drive around the ring of Kerry. We has 2 soup open prawn sandwich and fish n chips. Great food but what was best of all was the attitude of the staff. I can not say enough good...about them from the detailed but friendly covid checks to the attentive personal and friendly service. The place was also so clean.More

We didn’t have a reservation, front of house staff very friendly & helpful. Order taken, took a while for food, food was amazing, had beef burger. However had to request water twice, no salt & pepper, no sauce for chips. Staff appeared very busy. No...covid passport checks, no contact tracing information taken. Disappointing overall. When leaving told manager food was lovely however service poor.More

The kitchen was open until 10 and we arrived around 8. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had. All the food was fresh and delicious, with large portions. Would definitely recommend!

Our go-to spot down in Portmagee, Get takes great care of my wife and I at the bridge bar. The staff are attentive and friendly and the food is delicious and they were very good at observing my wife's awkward allergy to carrots and celery....If ever doing the Skelligs Michael tour or visiting Portmagee or Valentia Island, cannot recommend this place highly enough! Look forward to our next time back.More

We enjoyed our food tremendously. Food serving was just enough for us. Seafoods were tasty and the seafood chowder is the best.

The staff were more than helpful from start to finish. The first night we went there were no free tables inside. We got a table outside under cover. The food was good quality, fish n chips and burger. We were moved to a table for...drinks as soon as it was available. We tried the restaurant the next night. Same top quality.More
