We went on Sunday lunch, and they were very busy, so was a bit slow. But our list of complaints: Wrong sauce served with steaks. Waiter advised that this is the sauce today, but the menu states different, and not advised at ordering. Over cooked steak. (Very reluctantly they recooked another) Tough steak Could not wait any longer, we'd been... More

Smell of stale food everywhere, food poor, cold, tough and fatty and served on cold plates, expensive for what it was.

A very nice location with great countryside views, very conveniently located on the way to and from the Parc de Marquenterre bird sanctuary. Nice, small countryside building well kept and restored (but for stains on the inside wall, which make the place look dirtier than it likely is). Even the background music is less intrusive than in most restaurants we... More

We took prawn salad and fish soup as first course and both plates were very good. Second course was Bouchots mussels and leg of lamb from salt meadows. The lamb was delicious. Mussels were very good For dessert we had chocolate mousse and we were a little bit disappointed. So clearly, focus on the lamb from salt meadows which is... More

We had a meal in this restaurant recently, we were a party of seven and didn't have a reservation. Staff were very friendly and patient with our poor french. The food was fine for the price and the desert buffet was a bonus for the children. I would recommend this restaurant for a reasonably priced meal.

on June 4th at about 8pm, after a short visit in 'le crotoy', we called this restaurant which was on our way back to Fort Mahon. The man on the phone was very polite and helpul (he explained how to get to the auberge. We chose 'à la carte': magret de canard and tarte fine aux pommes accompanied with a... More

She slams the doors and walks so heavily we could not enjoy our time in bed. we decided to have early lunch at this place. by 11:30 we sit at a table in the... More

Excellent choice, reasonably priced and A+++ service. Worth a detour if you are not staying at the Auberge

Great atmosphere as the restaurant was full despite the islation of the auberge which is a testamony to the quality of the food. Their Armagnac is to die for, and the Muscadet-sur-lies recommended. Local samphire, cooked or pickled, features in the menus, and local salt marsh lamb is on the menu.
