We went to what is now called Club des Antiquaires (recently changed from the Villa des Antiquaires, they changed also the management and menu). The food was absolutely delicious (sausage and cheese entrée, Black Angus for 2 and the duck dish, pineapple carpaccio and baba...au rhum). The wine was also really good, we’ll probably try to find and buy it for at home. And to top it all, there was the service - Natasha, who served us, was delightful and very attentive. One of the boys brought water for our dog even without us requesting it. The atmosphere is lovely and you feel very welcome!More

Where do I start! This restaurant and the excellent accommodation of Aldona turned a stressful situation into an amazing memory! I was in Bernay for a wedding and we had some complications with a welcome dinner and neede to serve 50 people dinner quickly! Aldona...took my frantic call and said to come right in and she would help us out. We were able to get 15 fresh and delicious pizzas very quickly to accompany the food some of our guests were making. While we waited for our food, she provided us with a glass of wine to help with our stress and made us feel very at home and at ease (it was her birthday as well as my sisters!) When we left to head back to the chateau, Aldona gave us a hug and said if we need anything at all, we can bring any of our problems there. The next day we ended up needing to book a rehearsal dinner venue the day of the dinner! I gave Aldona a call at 11:30am and said we needed to do a dinner for 30 that night, could she take us? Without hesitation she said yes absolutely and so our crisis was handled. Aldona and the chef made sure the restaurant was ready for us, provided excellent appetizers, entree's and dessert's and again- made a stressful situation feel easy and at home. I highly recommend this restaurant and endlessly appreciate the kind hearts who helped complete strangers when they needed it most. Thank you!More

We were staying n Broglie on a monday when everything is closed and found this restaurant in the pedestrianised main street. It opens at 19.30 and the manageress, Aldona, was very helpful and enthusiastic. The food seemed mainly Italian. The ravioli was delicious and the...portions were more than adequate in size. Good selection of wine by the glass. Full of local people which is always a good recommendation. Most enjoyable place to eat and very near the main town car park.More

Aldonna, the proprietress speaks English, as does Tony the chef. I went with my colleague and his family - his wife and three kids, ages 13, 11, and 7. They'd just flown in that morning and arrived in Broglie that afternoon. The kids were overly...tired and cranky, and when the food didn't come out as they expected - too much cheese on the pizza or not the alfredo they were expecting - Tony and Aldonna immediately took care of it. The food was AWESOME (had a fish dish on this night but a calzone the night previous) and the service was superb. Very personable people, I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Bernay.More

Great pizza restaurant. We called in our own way down to Spain. Very friendly and good English spoken. They were very helpful with our dog. The french rose wine is very drinkable.

One of the few restaurants open on a Sunday evening. Nice food, friendly staff, but rather lacking in atmosphere.

We heard that there was a good trattoria in Bernay, that you have to book the table for its always full, that the ambiance is warm and delightful with good music. Best piece of advice. We were kindly greeted by Tedy, the young waiter and...Tino, the calabrese chef who cooked us delicious ricotta pasta and pepperoni pizza, followed by a divine tiramisu and it’s equally perfect cannoli. Direct trip to Italy for 35€. Totally worth the wait for Tino cooks everything, dessert included “minute”. We renewed the experience today with a pizza Parma and a farfalle alla carbonara plate. So cool, so good. Thanks again, will return.More
