The snapper was super good. I also had patacones and they tasted amazing. I do recommend this place any person would like to try comida tica. Pura vida

A special little place in nondescript highway location, serving traditional and modern Tico food. Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. The chef/owner adds his own creative twists like a great Fra Diavlo sauce for dipping fried calamari (spicy is always a pleasant surprise in CR). Arroz con Pollo is the test for comparison to other places---very good here.

The food here was very good and the portions were sizeable. I had a very yummy casado and my family had hamburgers that were very good as well.

Stayed in Uvita for a week and found this spot was the best as it was closest to our place (a small walk from the downtown southbound) and the food was pretty cheap. Myra was super nice and served me the best burrito I found in Uvita! After having a handful of drinks with the meals the bill was very... More

We wanted something different than the typical Costa Rica food (tired of beans and rice). We found it here! I had chicken cordon bleu & my husband had chicken marsala. Both were excellent and the prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend this place when staying in or traveiling through Uvita.

The ceviche was tough and the fish didn't seem fresh. Service ok. There were two other couples there. Ate at several other places in the area and this was the worst. I usually go to sodas and local spots for bocas and beer but wouldn't return to this one...

Hey, good staff, good food, and a good value. We stopped and had lunch which was very good and stuck around for beers and a soccer game on their big screen. A favorite of the locals, which is always a good sign

We first went to Los Troncos after a local told us they had some good "bocas"....we wanted a little snack after a day at the beach. We got a Chifrijo and Cevichè mixto (we had tried both of these at few other spots in "downtown" Uvita). The cevichè was super fresh and and a great sized portion. Mi Esposa likes... More

It is surprisingly very difficult to be vegan in this area, but Los Trucos went out of their way to make us delicious vegan burritos stuffed with beans and veggies. Not only was it great and filling, they never once made us feel bad for eating off-menu.

We ate here 3 of the 5 nights during our stay in Uvita! The ceviche, calamari, fish, chicken, pasta were all very good with great presentation. Beautifully decorated restaurant, friendly service and reasonable prices kept us coming back. Definitely worth it if you are visiting.
