Introduced to the Victoria Inn by friends, and we went there for Sunday lunch. A little out of the way, but well signposted. Plenty car parking space. Spacious restaurant, and tables well spread out. Good selection of beers (including draught Peroni) and wines, at reasonable prices. The Sunday roast was excellent, served with a good selection of vegetables. Service was... More

Myself and family attended for Sunday lunch, we had four Lamb dinners and was charged extra for the Yorkshire puddings which are free with Lamb dinners. I thought the drinks were on the expensive side but it is a village pub so expected that. What I didn't expect was to pay extra for three Yorkshire puddings £2.25. When bill was... More

Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry you felt the need to complain about having to pay for your Yorkshire puddings, however, they are not free with a lamb dinner and the menu clearly states its carries a charge if you would like one, so this shouldn't have come as a surprise. I think it is customary to pay for... More

Went to this pub yesterday for a meal with family, its the first time I have ever been there although my Uncle who lives quite close has been several times. We were received by lovely happy smart staff who seated us at a lovely table. The surroundings are lovely very homely and clean. We were given a choice of menu's... More

My first experience of Sunday Lunch in this great little traditional pub was excellent. Parsnip and Apple soup was new to me and moreish. The main course consisted of beautifully tender beef and cracking Yorkshire pudding accompanied by plentiful veg. The desert (apple pie with custard) was also a great finish to an excellent Sunday Lunch. The service was also... More

Haven't been here in years. Still just as fantastic as it was then. Great service from both the young guy and girl working this evening. Polite and cheerful, food was fantastic. Beautiful, tasty and just the right portion size. Will certainly be going back again!

On my Ordnance Survey map the village is Sigingstone, near to Llantwit Major, also am not sure if the photograph is the same pub as we only visited at night. Ate here, three nights, because the first visit was so good. Staff made us feel welcome right from the off. I am pleased to recommend this pub/restaurant and will certainly... More

My work takes me around the UK and I have stayed and eaten in establishments which range from superb to diabolical. The Victoria Inn certainly rates as superb in my opinion. The welcome from the landlady was warm and welcoming and I was then shown to my room which was well appointed, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. My first night... More

Sigingstone is a pretty little hamlet in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. After working locally, I arranged to meet some friends here and booked a table for 10 people. Car park huge and well marked out. Landlady friendly and welcoming. The place is huge and lacks a lot of character which apparently was there in previous years. I ordered half... More
