I booked a table for our anniversary dinner at Elizabeth's, and we were given a lovely table slightly apart from the rest of the restaurant, in the window. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and a special accommodation for my partner was made on the menu, as he is vegetarian but avoids mushrooms. The butternut squash main that was... More

Had a really lovely three course meal here with a great friend :)! The food was delicious (the lemon meringue dessert wasn't the best but nice). Well worth the money :). The service was so attentive and friendly. The prawn starter is amazing! Highly recommend visiting :).

Another lovely evening and dinner at the family-run Elizabeth's Restaurant, this time for my wife's birthday. We had scallops and asparagus for starters, chateaubriand for our mains and lemon tart and coffee for dessert. All was served perfectly prepared and cooked to an extremely high standard and tasted absolutely delicious. Classic table dressings and decor, hospitable, attentive and a lovely... More

We had another meal at Elizabeths the other evening. We had ordered specials in advance which were lovely. It is very quiet compared to most restaurants we go to so a different experience. It is reminiscent of places that used to be seen everywhere - tablecloths and stiff napkins which is a lovely reminder of how things used to be.... More

Elizabeth's have a tapas evening once a month (last Thursday in the month I think) and this was the second time we had been to one. A large glass of Merlot each and a good go at sampling all the meat and vegetable options on the menu. Generous helpings of each and we thought pretty reasonably priced for what you... More

My friend and I both had a lovely three course meal and wine here of an evening. It really is fine dining and the service is very good. The food was (especially the starters and mains) so delicious. I'd highly recommend the white wine, the venison, prawns and lemon sole dishes. The desserts didn't live up to the same standards... More

Elizabeth's has been one of my favourite restaurants for 'fine dining' since I first visited in my teens, and is still the best, as far as I'm concerned, that Rochester has to offer. In the old days, it offered flambe dishes, and lead crystal glasses. Now, whilst the wine glasses are beautifully elegant (not lead crystal), the food is still... More

Decided to try our luck as a walk-in one Sunday for lunch and luckily they had a table. Traditional decor and nice choices on the lunch menu, and pleased to find a nice glass of red by the glass as we weren't out for lots to drink. Starters and complimentary bread and truffle butter were excellent and the amuse bouche... More

Description
A warm welcome to Elizabeth's, our family run restaurant in Rochester, Kent. Manuel & Cristina opened this beautiful 16th century Tudor building as a restaurant in 1992. The restored beams, exposed brickwork and classic vintage design pieces create an elegant and comfortable space to enjoy a superb range of food. The menus reflect our signature European style with seasonal produce sourced from local producers, where possible, ensuring the highest quality and freshness of flavours. We offer a range of carefully selected wines and premium drinks to complement your chosen dishes. We believe when people visit us, they are looking for quality food, fine wine and attentive service, and this is exactly what we offer. Not forgetting our Spanish roots, there is a Tapas evening every last Thursday of the month so come and try some delicious, authentic Spanish dishes! We look forward to welcoming you soon.
