A charming, quaint, Irish bar that should not be missed. Our group of 15 went on a Monday night when the "house" musicians were playing and we stayed until closing. Met wonderful folks from Canada along with super friendly locals. You will simply feel at...home here......and enjoy some GREAT music!More

Visited the Marine Bar early June, 2019. My husband and I really enjoyed the pub atmosphere and the kindness shown to us. Relaxing, beautiful music and an at home feeling. The music and songs, (sung by Chris O'Neill) was excellent. We had a great time...and we were treated like family. This is a unique pub and if you are ever in Ireland this is a must see. You will be happy that you did. Thanks to Eoghan and Chris for making it the best day of our vacation. Sharon and Dave Fowler Bell Island NL Canada 1 ShareMore

We stopped at the marine bar near Dungarvan in our camper van after a google search. The car park already had 4 campers in it and ours didn’t fill it up but it’s not massive, although plenty of roadside parking. We were warmly welcomed and...felt instantly involved in the Friday night fireside session of singing and live music when our host asked “will you sing a song” as he’d asked everyone who’d walked in! A pint of Guinness for courage and we were off! The bar didn’t do evening meals but the craic made up for it! A little gem.More

If you're anywhere near Dungarvan and want to hear a great variety of Irish trad and folk music The Marine Bar is the place to go on a Monday night. The Backwater Band was playing and they are incredible. The banter is most entertaining and...the musicians are talented, nay gifted. The music flows seamlessly and the time just passed all too quickly. It was our most enjoyable evening in Ireland and we'd recommend it to anyone in search of a great evening of entertainment, The Marine Bar is the real deal!More
