This was out first indoor mean since before Christmas so we were excited. The staff were all very nice and the good was excellent. The desserts were not as good as the starters and mains but overall a good meal was had by all 5...of us. 2 adults and 3 childrenMore

Had a meal here on the 24/7. Beautiful evening so the demand for tables was high. I couldn't compliment the guy on the door managing the bookings highly enough. He was helpful, organised and was able to move things along so well. Food and service...was excellent throughout the night and nothing was too much trouble despite it being so busy for the staff.More

We’re regulars at Merrys. We book a table for a special occasion on 22nd. Although the boss woman wasn’t on duty, the food (from limited dinning outside menu) was superb. Didn’t notice waiting staff, so they must have been spot on. Allowed us time to...catch up, celebrate enjoy a fab evening.More

We know that opening up again is a challenge and that hitches and glitches may well be part of the Irish eating out experience for some weeks to come but there is nothing to excuse the ‘we don’t give a damn about the customer’ experience...we have had at Merrys in Dungarvan this evening. A sharing platter that was mean in the extreme took forever to arrive and was followed by tepid tacos that were just about edible. We paid and then offered some constructive feedback, as I’d much rather not to post a negative review, to a pleasant but out of her depth waitress who offered an opportunity to speak to the manager . We waited a while for the manager and she received the same feedback with defensive and unapologetic stonewalling. We will not be back and suggest others give this spot a miss until they sort out both kitchen and front of house.More

Four of us dined here last night, we were very lucky as it was very busy and we didn’t wait long before the manager seated us. Our experience from start to finish was excellent, the staff, the food and the service. Well done to all...at Merrys,More

Just imagine the setting; a beautiful warm evening, the tide rising high in the harbour and the aroma of fresh food by the local Arts Centre. Merrys Gasto pub is enviably located in Dungarvan’s food quarter with Paul Flynn’s Tannery a close neighbour. A delightfully...welcoming outdoor space, simple but comprehensive food menu and well trained attentive staff. The cocktails looked elegant also. My evening meal consisted of locally produced beef in a tasty burger. Simple, tasteful and attentive, all in a lovely relaxing space. Well done.More

It is juts so wonderful to be back out and about. We took a trip to Dungarvan and headed straight to Merry’s Gastro Pub. There was a waiting list for a table outside and the hostesses offered us a drink while we were waiting. The...menu is different from The norm, fresh and local and tastes as good as it reads. Fantastic selection of craft beers and some very tasty cocktails! Unfortunately our lovely evening had a dampener put on it when a family beside us began to harass the staff with foul language which was totally uncalled for. We would like to congratulate the staff and owner on how well they handled themselves and hopefully they will not let these awful People get to them. We look forward to returning again.More

I'd say if you got a quiet Sunday morning in Merrys it would be an ideal place to relax and read the paper. I love the decor. The music, however, is very loud and resonates along the street. The food I had was really awful,...and, but for the fact that I was asked out by a friend, I would have sent back. €9.25 for a gin and tonic is pretty pricey, but, as I say, its a good place for atmosphere and live music.More

I don't think there is anything specifically Gluten Free. You can find a menu on online. Sorry, Trip Advisor will not allow me to post the direct link, or, apparently even to allude that there is one. Merrys does say at... More
