It's such a shame - that's this place is closed. I believe that an investment fund just closed it down to cash in on their investment and threw a family out on the street. The Hurleys are endeavouring to get their business back so let's hope they succeed. I Would ask anybody who has eaten or drank there - to... More

Very interesting old thatched cottage with old open turf fireplace - if you're lucky enough to get to sit there when not busy. Food is basic fare with friendly customers and staff.

I have called in here on many occasions over the years and was never disappointed. However, our meal today of fresh cod was exceptional, especially as it was St.Patrick's Day. The service was first class and the ambience was wonderful. We ate our meal in front of a roaring fire and was just what we wanted on a cold damp... More

I had a lovely lunch in the Seanachai with friends recently, I had the Bangers and Mash and they had the Irish Stew. The food was excellent, delicious and obviously made from the best ingredients, and the atmosphere was delightful by the old style fireplace. Well worth a visit, and not just if you are passing, it's worth going out... More

We are styling at th holiday homes at the to this pub. The holiday homes are great and the surrounding areas are very pretty. A charming little pub just outside Dungarvan. The chef here really knew what she was doing. My muscles in white wine and cream were bursting with flavour and freshness served with delicious homemade brown bread. My partners hake with prawns in garlic butter was delicious and also faultless. The staff were pleasant and friendly. If you're in this area a... More
