Good food, wine, and great atmosphere outside next to the piazza. The cacio e pepe was delicious. Wonderful service as well!
We just had a day out and stopped by Montalcino for a stroll. It was the end of the day and we saw this cute looking place with tables outside so we spontaneously decided to have an aperitif there. The waiter was very nice and...accommodating. He also made an excellent suggestion about the wine (try Brunello di Montalcino 2013 from Sesta di Sopra). We had a delicious warm pâté and nice beef tartare. I liked the condiments too (balsamic vinegar from Giusti and local bio olive oil). A special mention about the logo of the place that I thought was quite smart. The atmosphere and the vibe were nice and the place was getting very busy for a Monday night. We would have stayed for longer and have a dinner there but we had to leave to be home on time because of the curfew.More
We had “dinner” with 8 people inside. Its basically a wine bar with a very limited Menu. The attraction is having a table in the courtyard/piazza. Staff is friendly
Great food (Tartare, Pici, Parmigiana), interesting and long wine list and very kind service. We were inside with only very few seats.
Didn’t have this one on the itinerary, but as any traveler knows, often times the best experiences are unplanned. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great outdoor dining space, excellent food and wine pairing. The pici with onions and guanciale is not to be missed. We went...twice during our two days in Montalcino and hope to go back again!More
Nice setting - one of the most charming places in Montalcino. Friendly service. Delicious food. We would strongly recommend.
It’s a very cozy place to enjoy a dinner for two. Nicola recommend the perfect pasta, main course and desert. Love the food and wine. A place worth coming back to.
We visited Alle Logge di Piazza for a light dinner after having a large lunch elsewhere. My partner had a dinner salad and I had the Tuscan soup. Both dishes were good as was the wine offered by the glass.
We dined here on the recommendation of our Relais and it was another great choice! (The first being Drogheria e Locanda Franci). Originally, we requested an inside table thinking it would be too cold to dine on the covered piazza. After hearing they had heaters...(and seeing a dog next to our first table inside), we moved outside. Much, much better ambiance! We started by sharing a really yummy Bruschetta made simply with really fresh tomatoes, olive oil and garlic! We both loved the same main course, my Tuscan favorite, pinci with wild boar sauce. We paired it perfectly with a nice 2014 Brunello. We finished by sharing a good size piece of Tiramisu. Service was friendly and well-paced. Fortunately we started early enough (7:30) that by the time a large cackle of tourist women came in, we were just about finished. Highly recommend but also know smoking is allowed in the covered piazza area.More
Had a lovely evening here with friends . We were looking for something lighter to eat having eaten at lunchtime and this was pefrect . Sat outside in the covered courtyard overlooking the piazza and tower and enjoyed a very good meal. Wines were excellent...as you might expect and the staff very friendly and helpful. This was listed as a wine bar, although the food was better than other proper reastaurants that we ate at in the town. My wild boar pici pasta was very good. Great location right under the bell tower. Would happily revisit.More
We really enjoyed our visit to Alle Logge di Piazza. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and service was great throughout our meal. The restaurant has tables outside in a magnificent ancient covered but open sided patio area with views onto the Piazza Popolo....Between the four of us we opted for a selection of onion soup, pasta dishes, meat & cheese selection and all washed down with a selection of local wines (a Brunello from Bondi Santi, which was lovely, and a Rosso from Costanti). We shared some desserts and can thoroughly recommend the lemon meringue and the tiramisu. It wasn’t cheap but a very enjoyable meal and we would be happy to dine here again.More
We had been here before and it did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked pasta, great sauces served at a nice outside location with view over the square with very friendly service.
The food was amazing and the place is super cool! We had the Tuscan antipasti, food tras (huge) and was delicious! The place is really nice
