I tried to get in for dinner at this small restaurant 3 years ago and there was no room - thankfully I had better luck this time. What friendly service. It was my first night in Montalcino and it was perfect. The wine menu is very good so I picked the Armilla Rosso 2014 - a little thin but it... More

We received recs to come here for dinner, and the meal lived up to all expectations. Service was warm, friendly and all around excellent. Try the tiramisu for dessert.

As far as food and hosting goes it doesn't get any better! 10/10 for starters, tortelloni and deserts! If you are looking for a fairly priced top quality restaurant look no further!

We entered just before 2PM, however roberto asked us to wait as a table is finishing soon. Ordered the set meal and porcini tortellini, and it was one of the best meal we had. Reasonably priced and dessert was amazing too. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This was our second time at Re di Macchia, located on the main street in Montalcino, and it was just as good as the last time (13 years ago). The host was just as gracious and the food just as delicious. We loved the pasta and especially the the bistecca Fiorentina — easily enough for two. Great wine list covering... More

We entered early in the evening; we were one of the first couples there. The reception was very warm and the ambience very fine Tuscan. Our host, Antonio, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and the food was the tastiest in Tuscany. The wine was exceptional and the choice mind-numbing. Do Not Miss It!

We arrived and they offered us a great table. Do not remember the appetizers, but we had fresh pasta with mushrooms and also bolognaise. Then, the desert, was a creme brulée on fire! amazing. one of the best meals we had during our visit to Tuscany.

We went there twice for lunch! Very reasonable prices and great wine list. We spent about 60 euros on lunch for two with half a bottle of Brunello. The food was Absolutely delicious. Felt like homemade food (in the best way possible). Very cozy atmosphere. Try the lasagna and the tiramisu! Antonio was very very nice!

Very good small restaurant in the city center. Everything was perfect, big portions, especially ravioli with truffles was excellent. Next time visit you again, thanks a lot!
