I miss VETO more than anything in Rhodes. I have never experienced such a welcoming and fun atmosphere in any bar ever.
If you are looking a place to drink your beer and skulk alone, this is not a place for you. The staff makes sure you are enjoying yourself and keep checking on you even at rush hours to make sure you are having a great time. Smiles and laughter are guaranteed here.
Drinks are great too! Many drinks are served with sparklers and are very nice to look at. Plus they all tasted great. Variety was great too. I'm sure there is something to everyone in the drink menu, and if not, don't be afraid to ask staff to whip you up something special.
VETO is a sport bar but that doesn't mean the nonsport person wouldn't enjoy their time here. Decorations are sport themed with a massive selection of shirts, scarfs etc. There are of course televisions to watch matches. If you don't feel like staying indoors, there is a pleasant terrace too. WC:s are upstairs. The stairs are little narrow so watch your steps.
Go pay Yiannis and the crew a visit! You won't regret it!

It was a very hot afternoon and we had spent quite a few hours wandering around the Old and New Towns of Rodos. Therefore we were in need of a Cold Drink. Veto Cafe Bar is a stones throw from our Hotel and so we paid them a visit. Great hospitality from Mine Host and very Cheerful he was with all the customers, spending time to check all was well and offer help and advice. We selected a Milkshake each from the very extensive Menu and very smooth and tasty they both were. Well worth a visit.

Service was brilliant made every single person there feel welcome and when you were leaving they made a point to personally say goodbye. We visited a few times while in Rhodes and the staff always remembered us. Great place for drinks and snacks. If you're a sports fan this is the place for you, they accommodate for whatever sports you like. Will recommend this place to everyone and will be returning if ever in Rhodes again. Amazing!

We really enjoyed this bar . The guy who owned the bar yanis and the lovely Alina were very accommodating and always had time to chat. Told us about the area and a little of info about the nearby restaurants. Sport was playing so hubby was pleased! The drinks were a good size and very nice. We had a drink in here every night and only had to ask for my arkward drink once! The only thing is the toilets were up a very steep set of stairs it didn't bother us but if you have mobility problems it could be a big problem. The toilets were kept clean and never smelt . Would definitely recommend this bar and we shall be returning hopefully sooner rather than later. My husband even gave them his old Leicester city shirt for the wall of many. 🍻🍹🥃🍷

Visited here 3 times during my week in Rhodes, didnt eat here but just had a couple of drinks and watched some sport. The owner is a happy chap and his barmaid is lovely....they serve beer in iced glasses.....love the place!

Popped in most nights as this was near our hotel. Nice spacious well kept bar. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips on getting about the island and places to visit. Very good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Beers are always served in chilled glasses. Spirits are a good measure. Sky TV and football available. Best bar around the area for drink quality.

Had a few drinks one evening after dinner, super fun, cozy and atmospheric. Nice owner and service. However, a few days later the dear old man was grumpy and fed up with me asking for the same thing over and over again and supposedly not showing up. Therefore a bad review, ruined my holiday quite well. Because I don't owe this old man anything. I think it's the other way around, something with support from 2010...

We orginally popped in one afternoon walking back from the old town to our accommodation. We had a drink and dessert. The cocktails were lovely and the special ice cream enough for two. Although I didn't have the apple pie myself one of our party highly recommended it.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned on two separate occasions to watch the football.
This is a family run bar, brother, sister, brother in law, neice and nephew and that is a big factor in what makes it such a great place to visit. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and fun loving. We were only in Rhodes four nights and spent two here so that tells you something.

3 * because there isn’t much to eat, I wish they had menu goes with those frozen cold beers. Have a club sandwich if you must eat.
The rest is 4* because they are doing their best and serving freezing cold and larhe beers.

Well what can I say about Veto. This is more my ‘local’ than anything on my doorstep. Location is perfect for our hotel, bar street and the sea front. The choice of drinks is endless with cocktails galore. Also many snacks and ice cream sundaes. Then there is Yiannis, Helena and George. Fab team always a welcome here no matter where you’re from. Oh and if you like sports it’s just for you…. Bring a football shirt or scarf if you want to donate to the decor.

Best cold beer in rhodes town we've experienced! With excellent staff who really make u feel home from home and far by the best smelling toilets I've ever visted in rhodes town! with there best smelling plug in infussers Micheal aleena and yanis have made our holiday !!! See you all next year !!!

Popped in for beer recently and met Yannis and his lovely staff member (sorry, I forgot her name. It was very quiet due to the covid issues but we loved it and had a real laugh with the hosts. We enjoyed it so much we returned an hour or so later. We chatted football with Yannis who is an Olympiakos fan and it turned we'd even attended the same game (Olympiakos 2 Man Utd 0). As I said, great hosts and I'd love to return. I even think I converted him to being a United supporter ;-).

Became our local home away from home. The staff/owners are lovely, nothing too much trouble. Always made you feel welcome and part of their family. Thank you so much. I had the best tuna baggete here. Always time for a chat customers permitting of course. Loved this place reasonable clean and good food. If I could transport it and staff to uk, would in a heartbeat.

Great bar with very welcoming staff. Had a great time here. Sport on the TV's. Thanks to all who made a great atmosphere. We didn't eat here but they serve pizza etc. Also you get a pot of nuts or srisps with your drinks.

The friendliest people we met whilst holidaying in Greece. The staff are totally fun loving and make you feel at ease. Cocktails were awesome, amazing value for money and good measures. The seating is so comfy and has great music and large TV for sports. Something for everyone in this bar!
