A large dining area, surrounded by a varied group of eateries of different cuisines, Chinese,Indian,Malay,Thai etc. There is a real buzz in the evening with local people and tourists from different countries, all the food is cooked to order and you pay when delivered to your table. As it is all inexpensive apart from alcohol small notes are appreciated and... More

Batu Ferringhi is full om western and indian food, yet the price is also quite high since it's one of tourist attraction. But here, in Long Beach restaurant, you can find a lot of food stalls with reasonable and affordable prices. I also finally found chinese food stalls with delicious taste and cheap price here. Try to order Hokkien Prawn... More

Good hawker centre. Mix of Chinese, Malay and Indian food. Reasonable prices RM 5 to 10 for most dishes. Get a table, remember the number, then go to the stalls to order. They will bring the food to you and you pay at the table. The Indian food was the most memorable.

Suggestion: Don't come with money (dollar bills) with tape on it. They won't accept it. Clean. Good service...

We ate at Long Beach quite a few times on our trip to Penang. We tried several different stalls and every meal we had was good! Food is freshly served, tasty and well priced. Even my teenage (fussy) daughter could find food she enjoyed each visit. Drink orders are taken at your table and bought to you then you head... More

Why pay the inflated resort hotel meal prices when you can get food just as good (perhaps better) at a food court? We ate there every evening and loved it. Great place for people watching too.

Visited here on several evenings as food so inexpensive & so much to choose from. Looked at other reviews & even our taxi driver told us the spring rolls were the best there were. Totally agree with that although it was the traders day off on first visit so we had the satay skewers. next visit we had the spring... More

The spring rolls are really yummy and the seafood from the 'ikan bakar' stall is good too, although slightly pricey. The char koay teow is also good. The Western food also offers good variety and is tasty. This place is very popular with the tourists, especially Caucasians who enjoy Asian food.

Arrived at Long Beach just as the night market was getting started, so not too full of patrons. Had the Swordfish, Lamb Kurma and Char Kuay Teow - all were good enough to want to return. Only problem is we are staying near Gurney Drive for our vacation. We wanted to see what the Batu Ferringhi beach and night market... More

Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
