Don't be put off by the look of the place! The food is good. We spent a rainy lunchtime after going to the national rainforest..food is tasty and cheap.

If the chicken tastes the same as the beef something is wrong. The place is also very much overpriced. Using the same sauce for both meals is weird. Even the springrolls were soggy. Food was on the table in no time, explaining it wasnt fresh. Not worth a visit

Visited the place with my family. Compared to the surrounding area, Guan guan is price is a bit on the high side. However food is nicely prep and quality is not too bad.

We went to this restaurant based on the Tripadvisor recommendation and it did not disappoint. It did not disappoint, especially the wonderful little waiter who was well in excess of 70 but exhibited boundless energy as he ensured we received everything we needed to have a great dining experience.

We walked around and chanced upon this restaurant along Batu Ferringhi, in between Hard Rock Hotel and Holiday Inn Resort. Nice kopitiam family restaurant, service is rather slow especially when there are tour groups having their meals there, too. The squid in plum sauce is yummy. Mosquito repellent recommended during dinner :)

We visited this restaurant at dinner. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Service could not be faulted. Well priced and definitely value for money. For a delicious malaysian meal you must try Guan Guan.

When we are searching for our lunch, we are welcome by the staff warmly. And we choose to have our lunch with Chinese dishes. The food is delicious and staffs are friendly.

Welcome greeting superb, the rest was less so. Run of the mill fare, adequate but food better elsewhere.

Decided to dine at this restaurant though there were no other customers. Pleasantly surprised that the food was prepared and served to us very quickly. It was good and fresh though I find it a bit pricey for Asian standard.
