Try any of the Yucatecan specialites like Pok Chuk, Rellano Negro or Queso Rellano. They offer a very satisfactory breakfast and brewed coffee. Snacks are served even if you just stop to refresh with a beverage in the afternoon.

First said: we didn't eat there. Just had Margaritas. If you overdosed your insulin their Margaritas might just save your life. Otherwise you gonna end up as a diabetic. Ordered a second one, "menos azucar", even sweeter than the first one. Not drinkable.
