Had dinner here two weeks ago (Jan 2020). Food was excellent and they even had french fries for my picky eater son. Would definately eat here again should we return to Vinales. It was a bit pricey but its hard to find good food in...Cuba so we were happy to pay what we did for great food.More

Excellent choice of different mojitos on offer as well as other drinks. Great service. Shared the tapas platter.. chicken skewer, pork skewer, small grilled lobster, pickled onion, tuna stuffed pepper and croquette. All very delicious. The small chilli peppers picked from the garden in front...of us were sweet and tasty. 11 cuc for the plate. In fact we ended up ordering another to share after sitting there for some time. Tried the 'pina and mango' and 'coco and pina' (4 cuc) mojitos. Also tried the cafe con leche mojito (5 cuc). All really very good. Perhaps the favourite was the pina and mango. Hence we had another. Alberto served us he was very friendly and kindly gave us a small dark rum on the house when we asked for the bill. Wifi available should you wish. Enjoyable relaxing time with nice good and good drinks.More

Don’t recommend this place to anyone, because its overpriced compared to other much better places and the owner lies to the customers. We went there for a lunch before hiking, but there’s not much food there. Also all the menus are handwritten so you don’t...really understand what is what. Finally I found something called ensalada with tomatoes which should mean “salad with tomatoes”, but instead of a salad I got only few slices of tomato(!) on a plate with olive oil. And they charged 6 CUC(=6 euros!) for that. My menu didn’t have the price for this so called “salad” (as I mentioned they are handwritten so probably they missed price in one). So when I got the check I was pretty mad about the price because it wasn’t even a salad that I got, just a sliced tomato! The owner came and told me that it’s so expensive because in Cuba 1 kg of tomatoes costs 6 euros! This was a pure lie into our faces. We went to the market to check and also asked locals about prices - I got 0,5 kg of tomatoes for 40 cents! And I’m a tourist, for locals it’s even cheaper. Also mojitos cost more than in other places (usual price for mojito everywhere is 3 eur, this place sells for 3,9) and they are not very good.More

We didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food - just enjoyed the first round of mojitos so much we just had to order more! It is on the side road into the valley so has a nice quiet location and friendly and helpful...staff. They clearly followed the motto of "Do one thing well - and do it really really well!"More

My friend and I visited a couple times during our two days in Vinales as we pass by it to/from our casa. The spot is cute and the drinks delicious. However, the manager/owner was dishonest with our change. We only had 20CUC for 7CUC bill....They were not happy about such a large bill, hot it was what we had. They have us the change all in coins. Normally we would've just left it and not count the change. But given the staff's attitudes, we counted it, and it came up 5CUC short. Not a big deal, but when we mentioned it to the staff, they were surprised. The manager came out, and said he had no idea. Then the staff told him they didn't have anymore money. The cash register was empty. If they couldn't provide change, then be honest about it, don't go through this act of not knowing then saying they had no money. I'm disappointed at how they behaved for a business establishment that's supposed to be credible. Hence the 2 stars.More

We travelled all Cuba and tried a lot of drinks, but this place offers by far the best Mojitos! Must do for every traveler who wants to enjoy a good Mojito and Cigar in Viñales. Very authentic place with high quality drinks. Nice vibe and...a great place to hang out after a horsebackride or a hike in the valley.More
