Stayed here one night and would return again. Staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Dined in the restaurants twice during our stay in Haltwistle. The price/quality ratio is very good. The food was well prepared and nicely presented. The service was also ok.

This is not only the center of Britain, but the center of town. I get the feeling they change the menu frequently. The food seemed fresh, and well prepared. Delicious and some unique desserts.
It took 90 minutes between when we placed our order to actually receive our food, with no explanation or apology. Once the food arrived, it was very good but not worth the wait (nothing would have been).
We were staying at this hotel and reserved a table. Both entrees and mains were fantastic, followed by desert. The wine was a good choice and the room had an elegant atmoshpere.
