Ducked in here last week on our last day in Exmouth for the Wife to indulge of her Devon cream tea. This is a proper old fashion tea shop; china cups, dinky tea pots and wum med caerkes as we say in the Black Country. The array of home made cakes in the window made for a difficult choice (not... Dropped in on Bank Holiday Monday for a morning cup of tea and cake. I had decafinated tea with a scone, butter and jam - staff were welcoming and accommodating in my request to have simply butter and jam (no cream) with the scone. My husband had a slice of coffee and walnut cake. Both delicious and wonderfully fresh. The... More

Great menu, really good Sunday lunch. Nothing modern about it but so wonderful. Staff happy and helpful, quick service. Children accommodated, as are 95 year olds.

Dropped by for cream tea and the scones were freshly baked that morning on the premises and the jam and cream ace too - lovely pot of tea using old fashioned china... More

We called in here on the off chance at lunchtime. Immediately we received a warm welcome. The place in clean and nicely decorated. The food was delicious, proper old fashioned, home cooked food. The cakes also looked delicious, but we were too full. Hopefully next time.
