Alma and Vincenzo... they are nice to you and give you some options to choose since there is no menu. Fair enough since we were in the mood of having home tuscan cuisine. They even give you a little something because you are just married. We had antipasti, primo, secondi and coffee. The food was good. Wine from restaurant and... More

We have stayed in Roccatederighi a few times over the years, and part of the reason is the choice of a few excellent, traditional trattorias to enjoy a wonderful evening meal in. None more so than Il Corso. We have eat en here a number of times and ate here twice during our latest trip to the region. we have... More

We had lunch at this little place whilst exploring the local area and loved it so much we returned for a second meal. This is an authentic trattoria - no menu, just a verbal list of the food on offer that day. We got by with minimal Italian, but the owners were lovely and welcoming and gave us great service.... We've eaten here at least 2x on every trip to Tuscany! Authentic Italian dining like no other. Fresh ingredients, lots of great dishes, friendly owners, beautiful street-side tables, clean, stays open late and easy to get to from Pieve di Caminino. After dinner walk around the ancient town.

We had magnificent food made with love and care. Outdoor seating is available. The family owners are warm and gracious with attentive service. All of the pasta sauces we're wonderful and varied and the antipasti are delicious. Highly recommended for typical hearty Tuscan cuisine in a historic hill town.

We ordered the antipasti (wonderful), plus the pasta of the day (wonderful too), and dessert (not homemade.) The local wine was good, service terrific and fast, and the owners were very friendly. We really enjoyed our experience in this restaurant and it was one of the best meals we've had in our three-weeks traveling around Italy so far.

Great place run by an older couple. They were fantastic and just very tolerant with our lack of Italian! The artichokes appetiser was really good, pastas were all a bit on the salty side and we found a fly in the red vino and a hair on the gelato, hence the average rating. Overall, a very nice experience.

Food was excellent. Vincenzo the host was very inviting. Apparently he is a local original. Expect to pay a bit more than you are used to. Nevertheless we had a great time and we recommend calling in advance as the seats are booked rapidly.

I love the hosts and I love the food. It is definitely home made and I am not surprised at all that this business has been here for decades. It is pricey, however. A portion of bread will cost you 4 euro, and a small portion of tiramisu 4,50. The tortelli maremmani al burro e salvia are fabulous. Service is... More

We loved the food so much that we came twice in two days. Do not miss the antipasti, the owners bring you roasted peppers, bruschetta, prosciutto, tomatoes and more... Just relax and eat, everything is fresh, local and good. The tagliatelle al ragu were delicious. The owners are adorable And produce their own olive oil!!
