ok homemade cooking, but when you feel that your dinner is the lunch leftovers .... I mean our lunch leftovers, not somebody else leftovers. The choice was very limited so we went with a mixed starter, meatballs and boiled meat. The starter was average and didn't respect the description on the menu, the meatballs were ok and the boiled meat was... More

Been there for dinner and I have to say the food is amazing. We ordered grilled mushroom and artichoke and boiled meat. I can't complain food was amazing The lady who served us was great a very genuine smile and nice recommendation. Never stopped smiling and enjoying what she was doing. I'm sure I will come again when I'm in... More

Straightforward, unpretentious restaurant serving good local food at very good prices. Distinctive dishes that you won't find outside the region. Try one of the rabbit dishes.

Great pace great food typical of the area and cooked excellently. Nice choice of food across a range of tastes with nothing to outface you. Price was fair and the service relaxed and easy. The both times we eat there it was really good - typically two of you with half litre of local wine eating a prima and a... More

This place was recommended by the cheese shop vendor in Modica and he didn't steer us wrong. The vegetable soup was delicious and my tripe stew (I know, not usually a dish that gets any recommendations on line) was amazing. This was real slow food made with love.

This is a great family-owned and run Trattoria just 3-4 mins walks from the main historic road, serving the very real traditional Ragusan food. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is a wonderfully old, but very well maintained, traditionally furnished place. It is a real find.

This was by no means a fancy restaurant but we ate an excellent lunch for an extemely reasonable price.

Maybe the best ravioli in my life. Very good side dish (caponata), soup and second dish (lamb with potatoes). Quite decent house-wine. Excellent, tasty but gentle home made dessert (almond pudding) and liquor (allorino). Very cheap. Very polite and informative service.

We ate here twice whilst having a three nights in Modica, the food was so good we decided to eat the following night. A small family run trattoria with excellent Sicilian food and friendly and enthusiastic service. Richard UK
