The gelateria is a small shop a short walk away from the town centre. They have a few seats inside and outside to enjoy your gelato. The staff is nice and prices are quite good compared to the excellent ice cream you get. So far...it is probably the second best gelato I have tasted so far visiting Italy. Smooth, with excellent taste. It is well worth a visit. In additon to gelato they also sell some specialty confectionary goods. I find it difficult to compare the Gelateria Cagliani from its close neighbour the Gelateria Ti... (name obfuscated as it triggered the Tripadvisor profanity filter). The differences in taste were not better or worse, just different and both very good. Cagliani had a slightly better pistacchio I think. Their meighbour may have a couple of more tastes tailored for kids. You should try both and see which you enjoy the most.More

Very good and soft icecream, shame that there are not always certain tastes and sometimes there is not much choice... :/

Went to this gelateria because of all the positive reviews. The ice cream is ok but no better than many others in Luino. Nocciola ok but strawberry poor.

It took a bit to find this place, but it was certainly worth the effort. All four of us tried multiple flavors. This was the best gelato I’ve had in at least a year. I found all three of my flavors to be excellent. However,...my standard of comparison is nocciola. It was top-notch, tasting nicely of hazelnut without a hint of the fake hazelnut flavor that some gelatos have.More

Doesn't matter what time of the year it is, the icecream is always super delicious and creamy. Never once got ill. Always friendly and super clean. Good also for takeaways. Loads of variations and always new tastes.

We have been in Gelateria Cagliani after reading some recommendations by Tripadvisor. It's easy to find and park. There were only 6 flavours today when we arrived there. We chose one chocolate and one caramel for each. The ice cream tastes very fine and silky....Each has it's own taste as it should be. It was 6 degrees outside but we enjoyed the ice cream. The collection of Starbucks' mugs in this shop is also a highlight.More

Really, this is a wonderful place where to enjoy ice-cream and believe me, I LOVE ICE-CREAMS! If you are in Luino, you have to stop here and you will be shocked to see how difficult parking is when it is weekend: everybody comes here and...there'll be a reason. My advice is to get there not too late otherwise you will miss a huge choice of taste. If you feel like just one 'cono' is not enough, ask for some ice-cream to bring home: it is cheaper eventually. Btw, Laura loves speaking English, she's just shy. Roberto is a volleyball lover: do not be surprised if he will ask you to play beach volley in Summertime. I miss them and their Gelato!More
