We ate dinner here a couple of days ago, 12th June 2022. Very friendly and courteous staff. We had to wait half an hour to get a table and another hour before the food was served. My partner had the burger and all was fine....I am a vegetarian for the last 45 years and my choice of main course was a curry or roasted vegetables with feta. As I not a fan of spicy food, I chose the roasted vegetables. To my surprise, the food was cold, not what the description "roasted vegetables" normally means. It was comprised of mostly peppers, one slice of aubergine, a few slices of courgette, green tomatoes, olives and grapes (!) with a mere sprinkling of feta cheese. Luckily, I had ordered a side of mashed potatoes as the vegetables on their own certainly did not amount to a main course, vegetarian or otherwise. Dessert was apple tart and ice cream which was fine but the pavlova I chose was below par: meringue, cream and what looked like a single strawberry, sliced thinly. There was a serving of ice cream with it for some reason. A disappointing meal overall and the vegetarian course poor value for money. Lovely staff and atmosphere, a pity the meal didn't match up.More
