We ate dinner here a couple of days ago, 12th June 2022. Very friendly and courteous staff. We had to wait half an hour to get a table and another hour before the food was served. My partner had the burger and all was fine....I am a vegetarian for the last 45 years and my choice of main course was a curry or roasted vegetables with feta. As I not a fan of spicy food, I chose the roasted vegetables. To my surprise, the food was cold, not what the description "roasted vegetables" normally means. It was comprised of mostly peppers, one slice of aubergine, a few slices of courgette, green tomatoes, olives and grapes (!) with a mere sprinkling of feta cheese. Luckily, I had ordered a side of mashed potatoes as the vegetables on their own certainly did not amount to a main course, vegetarian or otherwise. Dessert was apple tart and ice cream which was fine but the pavlova I chose was below par: meringue, cream and what looked like a single strawberry, sliced thinly. There was a serving of ice cream with it for some reason. A disappointing meal overall and the vegetarian course poor value for money. Lovely staff and atmosphere, a pity the meal didn't match up.More

I've called in here a few times and sometimes the food can be excellent compared to previous visits. That said i have never been overly disappointed with the food. It does deserve 4 star rating. The staff are always friendly which is one of the...main reasons we always return.More

I booked in advance (one of the few places I have found which actually responds to e-mails!!!) for 14 people and we were really well looked after. Fast and friendly service and very reasonably priced. Food was delicious (I recommend the Full Irish !!!). Good...big car park outside too with plenty of parking.More

Only go if you have no choice. Overcooked and basic carvery, with just nothing remotely exciting. Below school meal quality. Didn't look at the drink offer.

I visited here on Saturday evening with my family. we had a very enjoyable 4 course meal. The service was second perfect really friendly and helpful. Starters were full of flavour and good portion size. The main was cooked to perfection and flavour and taste...were great. My wife and daughter were so full they had to take their desserts home. Really enjoyable friendly highly recommend a visit.More

Good selection for Carvery Lunch. Child Friendly. Layout is a bit confusing if you are unfamiliar to this place (where to order dessert etc). Food was nice. Staff could be a little more customer service orientated. Overall nice atmosphere and not too expensive.

I wish I could leave a rating without any stars. We walk into their dining room that isn't even nearly full & are greeted by the front cashier with a stern "give me two minutes." We patiently wait just to see the manager/owner come out...at say "no no no, turn them away, we are too full" without even referring us another restaurant nearby. I would never come here again & would never recommend it either. This has been our worst encounter since we've been in Ireland.More

My wife and I visited with our two children on New years eve. There is a four course menu for €20. The food was very good and the lady that served us was very pleasant. The barman even came over to us to ask us...if the telly was too loud as he would turn it down if it was. The place wasn't too busy which was nice and was very reasonably priced for the four of us. The only thing that lets the place down are the toilets which are very clean but could do with an upgrade.More
