Very good lunch menu, vegans and veggies also well looked after in terms of choices, lovely lovely staff and reasonably priced. Coffee was good too. The place was really busy but we were well looked after, everything arrived at the table efficiently and the food...was really good - stir fry, salad, panini and kids pasta. Thank you.More
Placed was pcked so must be doing something right. Order a tuna melt and it was an ordinary sandwich with no butter, grated cheese, sweetcorn and mayonnaise. Staff were friendly enough, bit expensive as it was €25 for two sandwiches, two drinks and 2 portions...of chips.More
Have been in Nosh a few times. There are always "specials" on the board, i.e two starters and two mains in addition to whats on the menu. I choose a starter from the menu and a main course from the specials on the board. I...thought the starter was very tasty but was let down by the main. I just didn't find it terribly tasty but it wasn't bad either. On the other hand the desserts are fabulous! Huge big portions and all look delicious. Service was excellent and extremely helpful in explaining the dishes too. Looking forward to being back sometime soon.More
Visited Nosh last night. Their new menu gives great choice of style and flavour. I opted for the Starter special of Goats cheese, honey roast figs and rosemary salad...it was sublime ! I chose the vegetarian main course as it read so well and it...proved to be a great decision as the tomato, coconut and chicken stew was a warming bowl of flavour, gentle heat and great ingredients. A celebratory bottle of Prosecco added to a wonderful night in a great restaurant. Bravo !More
Lovely outside sitting area. Fast, professional and friendly service. Food arrived very quick and was lovely. Highly recommend the place.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Wonderful staff, fabulous food, great outdoor space and the kids loved running around the walled garden. First time visit and would definitely go back.
Thanks so much for your lovely review. We're delighted you enjoyed your NOSH!
Hidden gem. Food is Michelin class. Really diverse menu to suit all tastes. Service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive staff. House wine lovely. Would definitely recommend this to all.
Thanks so much for your lovely review. We're delighted you enjoyed your experience with us in NOSH!
Visited Nosh yesterday with a friend and was not disappointed! Had a beautiful daily special with chicken and considering the price and the quality of the food, it was incredible! Followed up by a rich coffee and gorgeous sticky toffee pudding, it was a joy....And I’ll definitely be back! Service was every bit as good as the food. Top Nosh!More
Lovely food, staff really friendly, reasonable prices. Was perfect for a spontaneous evening in Ardee!
Typical Irish, Village Cafe. The are are always very nice when you go in and helpful, the food is your average cafe food but with a restaurant vibe to it also serving dinners and stir fries etc. impressed, but would
I went here for breakfast only to find that you can’t swap anything in the breakfast. I don’t eat bacon and have never had any trouble swapping it for something else anywhere else. When I mentioned this to the girl serving us she responded with...“that’s just the way he has it”. I won’t be eating here again.More
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry to hear you were not happy with our no substitutions policy for breakfasts. We used to allow substitutions in the past but it became so prevalent amongst diners that it was serously slowing...More
Came here yesterday with my friend for lunch, and have been here numerous times and enjoyed it. This time however I felt I really had to leave a review for health and safety terms. I ordered a tikka chicken panini and my friend ordered a...wrap,these came with crisps and a side salad. I ate my panini first but my friend had started eating some of her salad. When I went to touch my salad I noticed there was a brown lump in it. I got my fork and moved it and that’s when I realised it was a clump of mud, and also there was wet mud on the salad. My friend checked hers and her lettuce leaves had mud on them, and she had eating a few of them without realising. Obviously we didn’t have to pay for this so that’s why I considered not leaving a negative review as the staff were very apologetic and dealt with the situation well. But it’s really not acceptable for food to be served with mud. I won’t be returning after this experience and if you do go double check your salad 🥗More
Hi Shannon, I have only just become aware of your dreadful experience in Nosh and want to apologise profusely to you and your friend for the obvious trauma. Can I just explain that when all our fresh salad comes in, it is first steeped and...More
2nd visit to Nosh the last visit was a positive one with lovely surrounding and back garden. The food was lovely except for slow service. Gave it a second visit this morning and expecting a faster service as we were the first ones in. Sadly...service very slow and when food arrived the order was wrong and then they said they will be back with correct order in a moment. Waited only to find out they had forgotten about rectifying their earlier mistake. I have to say lovely surroundings and lovely food and it's an awful shame prices and service is poor.More
We had a lovely lunch in Nosh over the weekend - smoked salmon and a breakfast roll followed by the Oreo cheesecake which was amazing! Everything was great and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely go back.
