Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Regularly get take away coffee and cake/pastries in Bliss. The coffee is always lovely and the freshly baked treats are delicious. I got a drip cake recently which looked stunning and had such a wonderful homemade taste. Very highly recommended and the owners are so...nice.More

Popped in for a coffee and a cake to go when I was on the road and thought this place will be lovely... WRONG!! Coffee was amazyas it’s Ariosa coffee and they don’t make it..!! coffee slice was sour and the red velvet cake was...made last week and left there! It was dry and crumbly as opposed to being moist and tasty... was definitely not fresh (as advertised) Don’t waste your time keep going to SuperValue or spar up the road for a far better bun!! And cheaper!!More

The cutest place ever! Lots of attention to detail. Had a lovely lunch with dessert after (could not resist all that homemade fare). Very friendly, great service and hospitality. Well worth a detour if not passing through and a must stop if passing through!

On our journey travelling from Cahersiveen to Buncranagh via Trim to visit family to celebrate the afters of Christmas in Trim and welcome the New Year in Co Donegal we discovered The Bliss Tea Rooms in Ardee. It was a wonderful experience and reminded me...of visiting my Grannies many years ago and having tea in the parlour. There was a lovely choice of HOME made cakes served by very friendly staff.Highly recommended and very well worth the stop.More

Visited on our homeward bound journey. This husband and wife team may as well just invite us into their own front room because that is the welcome you get. Martina's baking is awesome. This little jewel of a tearoom is a must visit. Ask to...see the mad hatter's tearoom upstairs.More

I visited this lovely place for a quick cup of coffee with a friend. Unfortunately for my friend i didnt pay attention to what she was saying as my attention was drawn to the interior of this cafe. Each shelf has the most amazing delicate...tea cups and tea pots. From the hand made milk jugs turned lights, to the restored fire place. This place is a treat in itself . The pictures dont do it justice. The staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming. This cafe is very much loved by its owners and patrons. I also can't recommend the lemon drizzle cake enough.More

I’ve eaten here a few times and the desserts are fabulous. You also get a huge pot of tea which I love. The only thing I would prefer to see is that the waitresses have a list of desserts as they sometimes forget what they...have. Other than that, I would highly recommend calling in for a cup of tea and a delicious slice of whatever takes your fancy!More

They do some really nice food here. We have had breakfast. Don’t like the way they do their pudding for breakfast. Everything else is fine. Their lemon meringue is delicious as is their chocolate cake. Cheesecake is gorgeous. Still have to try out their afternoon...tea. Looking forward to that.More
