Amazing food tonight from Boylan’s. They are offering a take away service at the moment, it definitely beats going to the chipper. Lovely choice of food on the menu.

We went here last night as a family of 4. It was the first night of the new tapas menu. And what a success it was. A fabulous choice of tapas something for everyone. The food was fabulous and the staff friendly and charming. This...will be a regular family outing. Very reasonably priced. We all left very happy.More

Last night (18th September) myself and 3 friends went for a meal here. We were greeted by a lovely girl who sat us and couldn’t do enough for us she was fantastic and so chatty. Not long after we ordered we noticed different groups of...people come in and seat themselves. Seeing as there’s was so many of them coming at different times and just taking menus we could see the waitress getting frustrated and rightly so. We called her attention and asked was everything okay and she explained nicely they were just refugees staying locally but they tend to come in all at once. I myself have no problem with refugees but after awhile they made us feel very uncomfortable. Very little to no English, staring over and making a lot of noise and seemed very rude and demanding. They had the poor girl run off her feet and she seemed upset as she was by herself. By 7:30 they had filled almost the full dining room and we had been surrounded by them and couldn’t help but wonder if there were more regular customers would they be uncomfortable or neglected. We spoke with a table next to us and they felt just as uncomfortable as we did and said they loved it here but would not be back! The food was amazing and the service I couldn’t fault but the other problem needs to be looked at as I’d be regular enough but unfortunately won’t be returning here knowing what’s it’s like now and how it’s turned into a hostel and I’m sure a lot of people feel the same. One table I noticed actually sat down and left because they didn’t like what they saw and I can see this being the closure of such a lovely placeMore
Went here for a meal with my partner waiting staff were ok until I wanted a second drink the girl behind the bar was obviously bored as I could not get the waitress attention as they were having a conversation. Food was slow even though...there was not many people there in fact there was nobody there when we went in. Staffing should be looked atMore
Garlic mushrooms followed by Surf N Turf. No complaints. Bar and food service always very good. And nice to be welcomed by the owners. Keep up the good work.
I would go to boylans on a Sunday for their carvery lunch. They do have a good selection of choice and food is nice and tasteful. Also they give very good portions.
Myself and my daughter have called in here a few time. The food can never be faulted, although sometimes it is tastier than others. The daytime bar menu is great value. They also do an offer on Sunday's where kids eat free when an main...course is ordered. This is great value and as a single parent it works out really well for me 😃. The staff are always friendly and attentive and the place is alwsys clean. The decor in the lounge and restaurant is pleasing and cosy.More
Called in for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. Lovely big portions and great value for money will be back and highly recommend.
Lovely seating area, great food, friendly staff and large selection of drinks and cocktails. Will defiently be back soon.
Just had to share the experience of a brief stop at this bistro/bar/restaurant. 3 of us were led to a table aftr being greeted warmly. Menus presented covered all day breakfasts, fresh dinners, salads, desserts....coffees/teas. Our order included a prawn and smoked salmon sald and...chip. And 2 of their all day breakfasts...but one was gluten free. Food was very fresh and plentiful. Staff checked u to see if extra fluids or food were required and we all really got recharged at the meal. Strangers like us felt at home and when leaving noticed several lone diners...with huge meals to devour. Thoroughly reccommend this wonderful place...and all very very reasonable. Enjoy!More
