Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ample parking made this an easy stop as we drove along the Dingle Peninsula. The sign advertised food so we had stopped in for lunch. We were a bit disappointed in the limited menu (pizza only) but we were served quickly after ordering at the bar.

We were passing and felt that the novelty was worth popping in. We had drinks (2 pints and a soft drink) and some chips. The prices were reasonable.
The decor was very cosy and there was a lovely roaring fire. We did intend to have lunch here, but the menu appeared to be most minimal and others’s portions appeared to be very small.
Overall, cosy. Pop in if you’re passing.

We were quite hungry and in need of bathrooms and Kruger's was right down the road from Dunquin Pier, so we headed there. I had read that the food wasn't great and the atmosphere might not be too welcoming, but it was all fine, though nothing excellent. We were able to order vegetarian bruschetta and a toasted sandwich with chips. I asked the bar tender if I could purchase a Guinness glass and he was obliging. So I was able to leave with a souvenir from the most westerly pub in Europe!

We stayed 2 nights in the brand new rooms of Krugers bar.we were looking for a room and by chance we went for something to eat and drink in this cozy bar. We found out that the Owner also rents out rooms. Room was in a word TOP! Everything new. Fully equipped. Nice bathroom, lovely bed. Really beautiful.
In the new kitchen is a large dining table where you can meet other people during breakfast. Was very cozy. Breakfast you can make yourself but there is really everything available. We make a tour of Ireland and this was definitely the .harvesting room we had! Not so well known yet but will definitely be known for the future.

I love this location and the bar itself. However, my friend ordered fish and chips and the portion was so small we thought they had made a mistake and given him a childs portion. Certainly not worth 17 euros! The bar man just shrugged when we questioned the portion size. Food is basic and over priced for what it is.

We stopped at this quiet and peaceful pub hungry and with a party of thirteen. All were very satisfied by the end of our meal. Cocktails were also delicious. The setting is quintessential Irish countryside. The food menu is limited but every item was delicious. We are most grateful that our daughter with celiac had a delicious gluten free goat cheese bruschetta prepared safely and with no issues. Chef was most friendly in accommodating us and we felt welcome and safe in terms of contamination:)

We were staying near Dunquin and decided to drink and eat at this local bar. It's fairly spacious with plenty of parking spots.
Sat down and it was fairly full for a Monday night. Server showed us the drinks (about 6 beers on tap) and the food options for that week.
We ordered drinks and two pizzas, the spicy meat, and a vegetarian. Both were mediocre, they were missing seasonings and in the vegetables, they weren't fully cooked and also lacked seasonings.
Drinks were fine. Servers were good and food came out fast. Lots of people coming in and out so good place to learn about local evens.

On a wet cold Monday evening I called into Kruegers for a bite to eat as I had heard the pub now serves food. I was delighted I did call in as the atmosphere was great. It appeared most were local and it was wonderful to hear the Gaelic spoken. I ordered the Seafood chowder and it was top notch. Tasty and warm and was served with a nice crisp warm baguette and butter. Couldnt fault anything. The Barman also was nice and friendly. Ill be back soon for more :-)

We were doing a road trip and we got a flat tyre. We stopped for help and not just the owner, but also 3 other locals went out to help us. They did not ask anything in return. We felt so flattered that we stated for a pint and invited them for some of them. They just helped this couple of Spaniard tourist who did not even know how to change a tyre without asking in return. That really tells you a lots about the good will of these guys. We definitely will come back once we are in the Eire again. THANKS GUSY

This pub captures the feels of old Ireland and the minute you walk in you get a homely and Irish feel. The bar is located on the slea drive which is a great stop for a pint of guinness and a bit of food with unbelievable views. The staff are helpful and warm, the food is tasty and the pints are good. What more could you want. Definitley recommend.

Popped by to see when ooen due to covid and told by pleasant owner sitting on stool watching the beautiful scenery and throng of tourists passing along the road that will not be stopping.
She said they should be open on 10th august; alas the government has today decided to starve remote rural bars for at least another 3 weeks on thr perverse basis of faceless megalomaniac so called experts wishing to castrate the lifeblood of ireland.
I will come back to this lovely bar run by humble folk when the nazis in government have been dealt with

Came here as one of the stops on our bus tour around the Dingle Peninsula. Have to admit from looking on google maps I was a bit sceptical about how this pub looked from the outside but when we arrived it was class. Good crowd there and amazing views all around, we could see out to the Blaskets from the back of the bar as the weather was so good. Thats the thing though the weather really makes this place and it was an experience sitting outside in the beautiful weather and surroundings. Staff are really nice and friendly here also. Only one of us ate here but the food was superb. Will 100% be back, but only in the summer for the good weather!

Came in for a drink after getting stranded in Dunquin with my bike. There were only a couple locals and the bartender in there at the time. They were all really friendly but that day, Pa, the bartender really came to my rescue.
Not only had he been kind enough to give me a ride back into Dingle, but he was also able find a way to transport my bike into town later that night. I will forever be grateful to Kruger's and Pa for offering me a good pint and help that day.

Came upon this pub when riding around the Dingle Peninsula. It was busy and a bus load of tourists stopped with reservations. However, the staff was able to get us a table for 5 in a quaint little back room.

Visited Krugers both nights during our weekend stay in Dunquin. Fab pizzas and fries. Loved the atmosphere and the fact that all around us were conversing in Irish. Like music to my ears. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We were lucky enough to be there for Comortas na bPratai, good craic. Would recommend a visit. Can't believe some of the reviews I read, hard to think we were in the same pub.
