We have visited this restaurant many times and always visit twice when we come to Malia on holiday. It is a family run restaurant with lovely friendly staff, and a spacious open air dining area.
The menu has a varied choice - fish, salads, pizza and authentic Greek cuisine. The food is delicious.
After the meal we are always treated to a bottle of raki and a complementary dessert.
I would recommend this restaurant to families, couples, solo and groups, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice little tavern, which is right on the street, there is always something to see.
But of course that shouldn't be the deciding factor, the service is very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is really quaint and the food is very good.
The prices are cheaper than two restaurants further down, so overall it's perfect and I can recommend it without reservation.

So nice en friendly Greek family. Very good Greek food en so much food for so good price. After the diner they bring fresh fruit en ouzo or raki. So many times we eat there en they always so friendly.

Fantastic friendly welcome...great food....nice ambiance.
We ate there twice and the mixed grill is so exquisite, we ate it twice. First the Greek salad and tzatziki. If we had discovered this restaurant earlier, we would have definitely eaten there more often.
For dessert a jug of raki....which was extra nice that the Owner / son both times drank a glass at our table....yamas!! And he enjoyed it so much that the three of us repeated this ritual 3 times....yamas...yamas...yamas.
We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be staying in Malia.

Apparently nothing was missing to be the typical tavern, simple furnishings, pergola and paper tablecloths. In fact, we found ourselves again, on the third day of Malia, in a cheap and obvious place, with a skimpy menu reduced to the usual four things. What a fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely mouthwatering, with every dish crafted to perfection. We can highly recommend a visit to this tavern. We ate here on two evenings. The food was very tasty and the service was super friendly and attentive. The menu has everything you would expect in a tavern like this. Everything is freshly prepared and presented very appetisingly. And as a thank you from the house, we were served freshly sliced melon at the end and a choice of raki or ouzo. Definitely worth a visit.

Taverna Paradise is one of the better restaurants in Malia, it is a really traditional family restaurant where the food is really prepared with love and you can taste it. The fact that many local Greeks also come to eat only confirms this.

This restaurant came recommended to us by a local from the Village. The Restaurant has been there since 1977. Traditional Greek Cuisine, Prices were very reasonable and a very warm welcome. If we had seen it sooner we would have visited earlier. Worth a visit for sure.

We have come back to Paradise several times. Food is fantastic and so is the family that operates the taverna. Conviviality and service with attention to all customers are of paramount importance here. We'll go back home tomorrow, but we'll definitely be back. Recommended!

If you look for the real taste of Greek cuisine, this is the right place for you. People who work here are very kind and make you feel home. Food is simply perfect. We went here 3 times during our stay and every dinner was better than the last. If one day I'll come to Malia again, I'm sure I'll eat from Taverna Paradise!!
