We highly recommend this restaurant for many reason. The atmosphere resembles a traditional greek tavern with some modern aspect allowing for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The food was fantastic. With the menu being based on traditional Cretan cuisine, all the plates we tried offered great tastes with very reasonable prices!! Finally the staff was very helpful and tried to help with any of our requests!! We undoubtably recommend this restaurant and will be definitely returning in the near future!!!

The idea to visit and eat in this restaurant absolutely justified me and my friends.
Portions more than enough, waiters always helpful and smiling, and of course the food was incredible delicious and deeply tasteful.
Highly recommended choice for any type of food you would like to try!!

Food here is absolutely delicious!
Service is very efficient and professional, portions are HUGE! We should have shared the starter - there was so much food to eat.
From talking to the waiters we learned the olive oil is grown locally and tastes amazing as well as the rest of the vegetables . We will definitely return!

horrible food & horrible waiter.
never ever come again! the waiter brings us an octopus which tasted like chewing gum (was impossible to eat) with a „purree“ which was also impossible to eat because there were hairs from the cook inside and walnut shells! I almost broke a tooth! when we said we won‘t pay for this plate the waiter acted really aggressive.. i dont recommend to eat there!

If you want a good meal with Greek music playing try this restaurant. The menu is really great with plenty of choice. When the meal arrives you will be surprised at the size of the meals and quality. A fabulous meal to enjoy and all at very, very reasonable prices. The staff led by Ilias are very pleasant to all clients and cannot do enough for customers. The chef is great too who takes a great pride in his cooking and the quality of the produce they procure for the food. A very clean restaurant and one not to miss. If you do not want a meal, you can just go and have a drink and take in the atmosphere with the Greek music. We will definitely be going again when in Stalis.

We went there with three friends for dinner.
Place us amazing just next ro rhe beach road,so you can see the people walking by.
We all got different plates and was all very tasty and huge portions
I especially like the souvlaki and spaghetti marinara!!!

Excellent visit. Authentic Greek restaurant but there was something for all tastes. Male host extremely friendly and chatty without being ‘too much’. Shared a starter then had chicken souvlaki and chicken gyros. Chicken was extremely succulent and tasty - large meal so remember this if you consider a starter as well !
We were extremely full so no dessert although we were presented with complementary raki and fruit. One cocktail and one glass of wine… whole meal came to €42.50. As a bit of a hard to please fussy eater, I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I returned for a second time today after the lamb shank on Saturday, this time we had Soutzoukaki, we were not disappointed, absolutely wonderful food, the waiter was polite and understood that we couldn't eat a meal each and allowed us to share. The complimentary fruit platter and Raki was a bonus, all in all a great experience and we are sure to return. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.

Great place.
We've been tempted by the reviews. We were not disappointed.
So much so that we had lunch every morning for 12 days and almost no evening meals were missed.
We are greeted there by a great and hyper Ace family, in a good mood and with a lot of humor. Whether in the kitchen or in the dining room.
We found something to feast on almost until exploding. The dishes are varied and the ingredients are always fresh.
The coffee is delicious, the seafood to fall on the ground (special mention for Linguine di mare 🤤), the pizzas excellent, etc.
We had the opportunity to test a lot of dishes and none of them disappointed us.
The atmosphere is relaxed and calm. Pleasant music in sound background.
We were able to enjoy our dishes while having the opportunity to hear each other talk; this is not always the case in other restaurants.
In short... feel free.

Restaurant looks very appealing but with an open kitchen where customers can see in, you would expect it to be more than correct in every way. But when you have watched your dinner be warmed up in a microwave and fingers of 2 different kitchen staff used to check the temperature on 3 occasions and on the 3rd time for him to then lick his fingers says the hygiene standards need to be looked at and questioned.
When my dinner was put in front of me and I questioned what I had just sat and watched, I was quickly offered an alternative but at this point I no longer wished to eat there and left. Get you hygiene standards sorted guys, we have just been through over 2 years of Covid!!!!

This place is on a quieter section of the beach road and contemporary rather than traditional. Staff are very friendly and efficient. We took a recommendation from our waitress which was aubergine saganaki and it was delicious. Meat for mains was well cooked and tasty. The Presentation of the meal was beautiful with the salad in a small taco shell. Complimentary fruit was served and raki at the end of the meal. We returned a few days later and also enjoyed a meal of a few different appetisers. The portions are generous and we ordered to much! It was all tasty with the meatballs with yogurt a favourite.

Best Tzatziki we've ever tasted!!! Popped into this unassuming restaurant during a heavy downpour. Staff were attentive, food was delicious. The cost was low, nice fruit on the house, would recommend if you're in the area.

Slow service. Angry chef in the kitchen arguing with waitress. Huge under flavoured omelette with ingredients not described on the menu. Untoasted bread. Crepe was fine but took a long time to come as the machine needed to be warmed up. Service mediocre

After 33 years in professional kitchens , I can see if a dish was just executed or if it was made with love . It was all terrific...
What about the seafood salad in the nest of tortillas like it was cooked in the sea... about the broccoli you ate in a Milanese restaurant and about the seafood pasta like it was made to be served in Crete for a Michelin star.
Really what bound sauce in seafood pasta I have never tasted before. So rich flavour and full of fragrances in your sky... they deposited you.

We ate here several times as it was good value, great food and lovely staff. For us, this restaurant and Kamara (just newly opened) were our equal favourites for freshly prepared food and good quality drinks. We highly recommend both if you are visiting Stalis.
