Did not expect to be able to sit outside having lunch on December 27th but we weren't the only ones. Very good food with lots of vegetables. Unusual for France! Nice menu if a little anglicised. We had the gigot which was beautifully cooked. Also have plenty of burgers on the menu. Well priced

Nice restaurant open all year. English owned so menu is less French than others restos in Cotignac. Consistently good home cooked meals and a lovely warm welcome by the Manager, plus its definitely the best value in Cotignac. We eat here often and always leave feeling good. They have a nice terrasse at the rear and I agree with a... More

Love this place. We are regulars, and are always more than happy with the food. The crab cakes are good, the specials are normally great, and the crumble is amazing!

We where a big family with two children (6 & 10 yo). We couldn't speak French and the waitress couldn't speak English, but we still managed to order without any problems;) Food was good and reasonable priced. You can sit outside in the cosy backyard or inside the restaurant. Hereby recommended.

We had a delightful dinner here on the cool terrace with a gentle breeze - the perfect place to eat on a hot summer's evening. A nice variety of traditional and not-so-traditional dishes on the menu. Everything was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. A real gem.

Really nice place, the food was very good. Just one recommendation: book in advance and don't get a late lunch or you might miss the 'plat du jour ' as they go quick.

Went here and had more than enough for one person. I ordered the lamb and potatoes dauphinois which were excellent when accompanied by a rose. Utterly charming atmosphere and surroundings. Would go again and again just to try everything!

Slightly away from the south end of the main street, with an attractive facade and not much sign of life at street level. You need to penetrate the inner sanctum to find the sub-surface dining area which usually seems quite popular - there aren't many restaurant terraces elsewhere in the town centre. The cheap plastic patio furniture looks glaringly naff,... More

La Terrasse just renewed their menu what surprised me a bit. I come here every year for 10 years now. They do with the new menu more trendy food like different hamburgers but u still can choose the normal french dishes. I think all the dishes are tasty and are good of size; the Gigot d'agneau is my fave. But... More

Enjoyed lunch here twice during our stay in Cotignac.. Away from the bustle of the main thoroughfare and sitting on the terrace in the sunshine. Perfect. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. Seemed to be child and family friendly.
