Our 5th visit to Leon, and it still defies proper explanations. We come in from Runaway Bay each year where we holiday at FDR. Mark, our driver from DiJamaicanFlavors is our go-to guide and delivers us here.
Tucked away in the trees on one of...the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica, Leon creates a delicious seafood lunch, Jamaican style. We dine on fresh lobsters and fish, rice and peas, and Red Stripe. Leon is a pro and his team makes you feel at home. Biggs, Leon’s right hand man, delivers with a smile and soft spoken charm, cold Red Stripes as we run out and he also helps with the serving and clean up.
Hope Leon never loses his passion!More
Mr. Leon prepared fresh grilled lobsters for my family while we were relaxing on the beach. The lobsters he prepared were huge and well worth it. These fresh lobsters were grilled just right and was delicious! Leon was totally courteous and polite. You definitely have...to taste one of his fresh grilled lobsters!More
Having read so many reviews about Leon’s Lobster Hut this was a must for me and my partner and it did not disappoint. Sat on a bench overlooking the ocean eating perfectly cooked lobster with jacket potatoes in garlic butter along with rice and beans,...I really could not have asked for more. It was an amazing experience and Leon is a genuinely lovely man, I would highly recommend to anyone!!More
We ate at Leon’s for Lunch.
I give two stars to Leon for trying. I want the readers to know that I usually support local businesses, if not for that, my 2 stars would have been 1 star.
Quality: Quality of lobsters can vary depending...on the day. I suspect the “Garlic Butter sauce” may not be actually “Butter”... Again these are based on my experience. 2 stars
Service: Yes he does deliver to the beach or you can go to his hut near the Royalton.
4 stars for delivery service otherwise 2 stars.
Potatoes were good. When the best part of a Lobster Meal is the Potato there is something wrong..
Ambience: Unadulterated Jamaican beach feel. If you do not like flies or insects, this place may not be for you. He does deliver though.
Price: 40 USD for 1.5 to 2 lobsters per person. I am not making a judgement on price. I will let readers make the call on it.
If you want to support a local business try to go into town and try a restaurant.More
Rain kinda threw our initial plans of a 7pm meal off. We put down a $40 deposit the day before. But soon as the rain stopped, our guys were waiting for us to take us to the spot. Looked like they actually closed for the...night but we were treated like Kings and Queens anyway. Fresh grilled lobster, red snapper, beans and rice, and buttery potatoes. Probably the highlight of our first trip to Jamaica. Respect to Alo and Terri for making this happen!More
This was my first time trying lobster and I was a bit nervous about it but it was delicious he puts some garlic butter on it and it makes it taste a lot nicer. The people there are very nice and make it worth it....You have the opportunity to buy some wooden carvings which are very nice. Over all if you are looking for a nice place to try lobster this would be the place to go toMore

I was able to walk along the beach to get to Leon's. Our hotel was a 5/7 minute walk from Leons. From what I remember, the port is approx. 15mins from the hotel I stayed at, Blue Waters. So probably go onto google maps and plot from the port to Blue Waters and Leons is approx 5mins (give or take a few mins) from there.
Worth the visit if you can make it.
