I wouldnt expect in Stiavnica such amazing restaurant with excellent food, short and always changing seasonal menu reflecting also local suppliers. Menu is very fresh and tastefull. What makes the restaurant recommendable, is staff which is very pleasant and nice creating miracles for the guests....Again must have in Stiavnica. Wine selection is also amazing, matching the food and wishes of the guests. 👍More
They have really gluten-free menu. We had very good creme brulee, the staff was rather nice, but menu is very expensive.
Food great, really nice experience. But staff not so much…. We had a reservation at 16:30 and after 1,5 hours ( and paid 300€ ) when we didnt even finish out drinks a waiter came and told us to leave soon that they have another...reservation. I recommend them to inform the guests in advance about how long the guests should stay. Because it really ruined the whole experience.More

This place is a must while in Banska Stiavnica. It’s beautiful settings and very attentive staff will treat you wonderfully. I came on a hot summer day and enjoyed a lovely salad with a goat cheese.
Loved the audience and the over all vibe of this place. We came there to experience Pati Asian kinda style restaurant and so we did. Their menu changed every week and u can see the kitchen from ur table. The wine selection goes very well...with ur food. There are only few options to choose from but that’s what makes this place special. Loved it there, will get back once we’re at the town for sure.More
For me, as I guess for others, good cooking is about the quality of the ingredients (freshness and intrinsic quality) first and then about it's preparation (knowing which method goes better with the different ingredients and knowing how to match them adequately). And that's exactly...what I found at 4sochy: the ingredients used in my dishes couldn't be fresher, their quality was excellent and they were combined skilfully. Quite a treat. The price is a bit above the average in the same area in my experience, but doesn't feel overpriced considering what one gets. Add to that a very efficient service and a nice entourage... what else could you ask for? Of course I have only been once there, so I might have just been lucky, though I doubt it.More

We didn’t manage to taste the food, although friends recommended this place to us. Today we passed by, and there were no empty seats in the restaurant, but there were seats in the cafe, but there were double standards - some guests were allowed to...eat soup, others were not. The waitress was quite rude and when we asked her why so (we wanted to eat just soup) she said that those people are special and we are not;) We had to go to another place and have a delicious meal there!More
At this restaurant I had the best tuna fish ever (and I am really spoiled and picky :-)) The service was nice and very helpful. I absolutely want to come back and repeat this lovely experience.
We were walking all the way from pension Altmayer (a loong way) to enjoy lunch at the 4sochy cafe. We arrived at approx 1pm, restaurant looked empty, with only one table occupied. We sat, waitress came asking us what do we want to drink. I...said we´d like to eat as well. After answering "no" to her question whether we have reservation, she informed us that eating won´t be possible there because they require reservation. I looked around, seen nobody at the restaurant and asked whether they can serve us food that I don´t see anybody. We were informed that would not be an option and they are really sorry, and even me willing to wait a bit longer for lunch won´t help. (I was willing to wait even 30 or 60 minutes for lunch in an empty restaurant, but I was told that would not work, that what would have worked was if I called int he morning asking for a reservation and an order what I´d like to eat. This I did not get at all, and I am not sure how this restaurant which is having great reviews is surviving this "COVID-age". As I was not served and had to search for other restaurant, I am giving 1 star, and I feel sorry about that.More
