Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you’re looking for a place in Banská Štiavnica to enjoy wide selection of teas and nice quality shisha, you should definitely visit this place. It was one of the few places opened on Monday (in May).

Great apple strudel and amazing tea from all over the world. The terrace outside is lovely to sit on and look out over the city. They also have cozy rooms inside.

Fancy small tea house in the historical building. Offering various tea s with tasty cakes or other snacks. There is a small shop for teas and accessories in it as well. Could be cleaner.

If you are for good tea then this is the must to see place in Banská Štiavnica.
There is enormous selection of teas from around the world.
We had Oolong and local herbal tea (Materina Duska). Both were perfectly prepared.
Place is very cozy and service is very friendly.

Nice little teahouse. Good shisha and excelent tea. However the place is a bit run down and shabby. Weird smells all around the teahouse. They also serve some alcohol so the guests do not always fit the tea culture. Generally a nice place to spend evening, but there is some room for improvements.

We stopped here for cup of tea and we were very satisfied with the tea selection and also with many flavors of shisha tobacco. If you want to taste a good tea in nice atmosphere you are right!

Nice interior, warm atmosphere, and a great variety of tea makes Klopacka a perfect spot on your way to the New Castle. Although it's a teahouse they serve a good coffee, too.

We had tea (there's a huge selection), hot chocolate and some snacks. It's a nice place in a historical building which was used to inform miners about their shift, later it was a museum and now it's a tea house :)

Znovu navštívené po troch rokoch a stále je to tu super. Pre skutočných znalcov čaju. Dali sme si Daarjeling, Masalu a belgicku čokoládu. / Visited after three years and enjoyed very much again. Come for a real taste of good, properly prepared teas of all sorts - or a great belgian drinking chocolate.

Excellent view over the town from the outside, and when you step inside, you feel tranquil, relaxed and I was blown away by the huge selection of teas and coffees on offer. Was definitely my favorite place to visit when I first came to Slovakia. Was truly an amazing experience, and I would recommend every one who visits Banska Stiavnica to go here.

I always liked tea houses, and this one is one of my favourite. The rooms are cosy and the tea is very tasty. The tea variety is big. It was enjoyed even by my 2.5 y old son. Highly recommended the place.

During walking from the Old Castle to New Castle or conversely you can´t miss another historical sight - a tower Klopačka. Downstairs is a cozy tea room, you can also sit on the terrace. A varied selection of teas and tasty local cakes and sweets. We asked untypically in the tearoom for coffee and young freethinker prepared for us exclusive Arabic coffee in Cezves.
If you want to gain favor with the serving girl, learn something about Goran Bregovič and his Funeral Orchestra ... Girl likes him and we talked about his concert in Prague, that we have visited.
Clean toilets, access for wheelchair users, in my opinion a little bit limited.
